bad map sensor? How do you have the box grounded? If it is grounded to the intake bolt like the directions say, try grounding it to the negative battery terminal. I had ground problems when i grounded it to the intake horn. The problem could be a couple of things.

CTD2001-thanks for the advice I will tell him tomorrow. what other problems can we look for? when we first put it on it threw the overboost code. we cleared it out and drove it again today and it acts like the box just wont work at all really. he has a stock turbo/injectors, but the tranny is built so it will hold the power. it is the hot edge comp so I figured it would smoke some. it wont smoke a bit & really doesnt run any different. he is pretty dissapointed

make sure your gitting a good ground, and make sure you have the correct wire taped. cause with my comp i can see quite a bit of smoke, with my map sensor un-plugged

You will surely know when it is hooked up correctly, Drag Comp makes gobs of power. Even with the wrong wire tapped, it should still make 65 HP and that would be very noticeable. I'd bet the ground is the culprit or possibly a bad connection at the Map Sensor "two vital connections there".

supposedly there have been some bad drags comps coming out of edge recently.

if the MAP sensor connection is bad, it should still work fine (in my eyes) because many people run without the MAP connected for the low-end increase.

check the ground, the power supply, and data link. if all checks well, give Edge a call.

good luck and let us know what you find...

Another fellow made a similar post last week having a comp that doesn't work. I had the exact same problem, no difference in power, and without a doubt had it all hooked up properly. Sent it back to edge, didn't work any better when i got it back. I did also get the overboost code once.

I ordered up a Quadzilla box to try it out and hopefully its not the truck. I wander if its possible that certain trucks have an ecm software version thats not compatible with the comp? There are quite a few guys who have had very similar problems lately.
