Don't forget about Spring Fling!

It's coming soon, May 17th and 18th. For those who haven't been, it's always well attended, the dyno crew really moves the trucks through the line, and there is plenty of food - though we do expect you to bring some to share.

Darn, don't get to see many 89-90 trucks show too often there! I remember an electrician (had an IBEW logo on the back window!) brought a white version similar to yours last year. He bought a fresh used set of stacks and I think Wannadiesel fiddled around a little bit under the hood, then ran it on the dyno for a good shakedown baseline run, even 727 equipped. The truck was a diamond in the rough.

I haven't even added it to my sig yet, but I'm getting a '93 truck. I'm not even bringing my '96, gonna bring the '93 and do a before and after dyno. Gonna let Wannadiesel add a KDP killing to his long list, and work some magic into the pump between runs.. the 2nd run may just end up being Sunday. Saturdays are usually quite busy!! This truck isn't even on the road yet, needs a bed and trans. It's getting a steel flatbed and a Goerend 47RH, lockup tranny!!

Yes, I will be there on Saturday 5/17. I had to unexpectedly miss Fall Brawl, so, can't miss this one.

I plan on being there. If not running on the dyno, at least helping guys get their stuff together.

Nick, I hope to catch you again at Beaver Springs soon. It sucks because I have to take a day off work to go. I think next time I am taking the 4 wheeler, its WAY too hard to be consistent with my truck.

If you want, we can swap on my small set of tires (245's) and see if your truck will get into the 12.7's

I don't have a problem with consistency.. Just can't cut a good light in the eliminations! I could DEEP STAGE like you're supposed to with any kind of tall rubber, but that's cheating to me Same thing if I tried taking some weight off.. toolbox, tailgate and the sandbags in the bed! My summer tires are going to be going on soon (305s), that may cost a 10th or so too..

I sure will be Mike!! WannaDiesel and i were talking about your truck at the last Petro meet.. and he explained to me about your injectors were not popped correctly for the VE pump, back in the fall on the dyno. So.. I'll be studying your dyno numbers again and this will determine if i want to stay with the VE or go to the P!!!

We got the trans in on Tues and should start work on it next week if all goes well. If I'm lucky.. the truck could be ready for next weekend and I'll ride down to the Buck in it Saturday (10th).

Shouldn't have much trouble doing this trans conversion thanks to the sticky you wrote up some time back!!..

Good deal, what converter or stator did you go with? I have what he calls a 800/300 in my truck right now. I currently have a ready to go built trans with no valve body or converter and I want to get the feel for a looser converter for the other 93 which I'm performing surgery on right now because of frame rot.

On a different note, I'm trying to talk a friend of mine into driving his late 70's F150 shortbed out with a 4BT transplanted in it.

I will not be at the Buck, 1 the truck isn't even ready to pull and 2nd I really have a problem paying to get in then paying to hook. 3rd, I'm between jobs right now and don't need to be spending that kind of money on fuel.
