How long have you waited? I sent one in a while ago and got a pretty quick response. Stupid question, but what email did you send it to?

No kidding right Mike?
I tried finding my old email I sent in to him, but it didn't surface. I do have a contact saved with the name Chris and that email though. It seems like there isn't much "official" activity or anything like that.

Yeah, I reckon that is kind of the case... Unfortunately the diesel drags are at the opposite side of the state, but Mike & I will be at the NEPA meet this Sunday.

Seems like that would be a good idea. Is there anyway there could be one for the east side of the state and one for the west?

That's a good idea. PA is a wide state, and there are several states with more than one local DTR chapter.

I'll send Lary a link to this thread and we'll see what he wants to do.

cool. I think it would help to keep things more organized. If no one else wants to take the east side (if we go that route) of the state i would be willing.

It really should be split in half, way too much ground for one person to try to be organizing.

At least this thread gained some speed.

Guys,
If repeated, multiple attempts to contact the Chapter President have failed and said President exhibits behavior that can clearly be implied as indicative of a dereliction of duty then the members of the Chapter will need to pass a majority vote to:
1) Remove the existing Chapter President
2) Vote in a new Chapter President.
or the current Chapter President explicitly expresses the desire to step down, then the members of the Chapter will need to pass a majority vote to:
1) Vote in a new Chapter President.
The new Chapter President will then need to contact me and let me know of his/her new status and contact information and the status of the Chapter.
He/she will be required to fill out the same Chapter Application paper work (for legal reasons) and then that person will be made the official Chapter President.

In either case, if no consensus can be reached by the majority, or if no nominees are presented, then the Chapter will be closed.
In this case, I request that one person in the former Chapter contact me and notify me of this situation.

Thanks guys.
Its always a difficult time when leading folks go AWOL, but life can throw a lot of curves at us and many times, life gets in the way of our hobbies.
I respectfully request that all attempts be made to contact your Chapter President prior to taking any action.
I too have sent an email.

Rich.
