I was in a Harbor Freight store, yesterday.

I picked up this real neat little keychain-light for 99c + 6c tax, for a total investment of $1.06.

Later, I made a special stop at Walmart, to get a replacement battery for the indoor/outdoor thermometer in my truck; three in a pack cost me $5.16.

When I got home, I was checking out my new little light.

I wondered what kind of battery it had in it, so I unscrewed it and three batteries, identical to the ones I just paid $5.16 for, rolled out of my ninety-nine cent light.

I could have just bought two lights, robbed a battery out of one for the thermometer, saved a stop at Walmart, and saved $3.04, more than enough for another gallon of fuel.

Oh well.

yep.. it is amazing what you can find cheaper...

i'm stocking up on parts for my fuel system upgrade... speed shop brand -8 an 37* to -8 o-ring go for around $9.00 us funds.. for less than $2.00 canadian funds, i got the same from a hydraulics suppply house [-8jic to -8orb]

just need regulator and 2 bulkhead to start install [one for tank vent, one for fuel pickup]

My ice maker quit. In town they are $96.00 + tax + fuel to go get it. On e-Bay I bought the same part for $35.00 FREE SHIPPING, NO TAX, NO FUEL.
