I voted because TDR costs and DTR was free. Having said that, I have donated, more than the TDR fee is, to the DTR fund. I don't like "having to pay" vs "paying freely what I felt the product was worth".

When I first bought my truck I looked at TDR for awhile without being a member. It got annoying only being able to look so far without paying. I found this site and have been hooked ever since. I guess that makes me cheap. I feel alot more at home here. It must be the nice blue background that pacifies me and numbs my mind.

If you really don't know. TDR = "Turbo Diesel Register" another forum site for Dodge CTD's. They require a membership/magazine subscription fee to participate.

first impressions are everything,

and the first impression i get, when i go on there, and can't read a post because of some rule, is that someone don't want me there.

so i leave.

my mama told me not to go where i ain't welcome.

Shows you how set in my ways I am. I had never heard of TDR. I routinely go to http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/ but spend most of my "quality" time here.

I used to be on TDR, but I thought $35 for a webboard was kind of pricey.

I read maybe 1 or 2 articles in the mag, if that, and would toss them, so that wasn't a "selling point" for me at all.

I do miss the "info box" deal that pops up when you mouse over a topic though.
