Talked to my Asst. Chief last night after our department meeting, (i was at work), the vote went through and I am now a full member of the FD.

On a side note, I found out that the pump(s) for the sprinkler system at my new place of work, is powered by none other than a 24 valve ISB Cummins.

Volunteer, being full member means I can now vote, run lights/siren etc.......

 

Congrats! I'm waiting on finishing up my EMT-B class right now so I can go and volunteer as well.

 

oh gotcha. Just be careful runnin lights and sirens on the road. I've been at the station all day and we haven't had one call. pretty boring actually.
