Was wondering ........

I recently took a look at "The People of Walmart" and since then have been wondering about something. Not that too many years ago sights such as I saw here would never have been seen as folks were too proud to go out like that. However, these days, go to Mainstreet, Anytown, USA and what do you see? Now I am wondering if there is any correlation between how the people dress and behave in public these days and the degeneration of America as a whole? Would it be fair to think the the People of Walmart as seen on that site represent America as it is seen by the Arabs and other countries. I shudder to think that this could be a possibility. If I am right, then it is no wonder that the Arabs and others look down on America. If the American pride has sunk so low that people can go out in public dressed like these "people", then what is left for America except more degeneration and more lows?

Oh boy just when I have to go to work....I could really get into this, but I won't....for now. I hardly go to Wal-mart for this reason....I hate the place. I do think there is a connection. I also have a problem trying to find a nice restraunt and the people are dressed the same way. It has become down right disgusting to go out in public anymore. I remember as I'm typing this that several yrs. ago....Jan of 2000...I think Reader's digest had an article about this.

Later, Tony

Stan, sadly you are correct.

It also does not help when you have a President who is looking for "*** to kick".

It's called pollution of the gene pool.
Hate to sound callous but a lot of Americans shouldn't be capable of reproducing.

No, it's called "What We Will Allow" If America, meaning the people, will ever grow their backbones back an not tolerate what's going on,it will stop. Until then, sit back and get used to it.

Too many handouts/bailouts and a don't give a [censored] attitude and the you owe me attitude is eroding the moral fiber of your country...and mine as well.
It comes from the top and settles at the bottom like a quagmire.
Expectations are that someone will stroke a check to take care of what the individual should be doing for themselves.
A lack of self esteem and the lack of knowledge or ability to break the dependent attitude needs to change.
Self Respect and Self Esteem are not what a lot of people have right now.
Ego will erode the soul of the people fast. JMHO

If you tax it you get less of it.. If you subsidize it, you get more of it...
Do you want to ponder why there are getting to be more of those kinds?

In short, yes.

When we were stationed in Japan it was a real eye opener to see and hear the news from a JP or an AU perspective. We only got snippets of US news but what was reported often sounded petty or embarrassing. Overseas we were living outside the bubble. My husband and I had many instances were we cringed at what we heard going on in the US, sometimes about politics or daily news, and we looked at each other and said "It's no wonder countries want to bomb us". People do act like a bunch of entitled, spoiled children. If not that, then they're just plain stupid.

It is a shame that the moral fiber of the US citizen has deteriorated. There are still good people out there. But it is the dumb idiots making all the noise that often overshadow the good ones.

The bottom line of this is they are being "entitled" to all these bennies so they will vote a certain way. The more handouts, the more they want. One vote from these bunnies negates your vote. Regretfully, there are becoming more bunnies than sane, hard working, honest people. All we get to do is support the bunnies.

History reports that Rome self-destructed when the welfare reached over 50% of the population and those in power enriched themselves on the backs of the wealthy. They kept promising more and more to the have nots to keep their vote. Boy that sounds familiar.

Wonder if the Obama Administration ALSO uses lead as a food sweetener like the Romans?

The truth hurts...Our county fair is this week...it makes Wal-Mart look like a Hilton hotel. We literally sit at our tent, and point and laugh as people walk by. I wouldn't wear some of the things I see at home, let alone in public.

Then again, you dont see a whole lot on Main Street. there is a couple places to eat, a furniture store, and a couple professional/service places. Other than that, Main street is closed.

Yeah I know what you mean. We have got a few crossdressers showing up in town lately. It'll start with a few then turn into a dozen or more trying to make it seem normal. These fruits need to go away, I'm thinkin of moving inland to get away from these idiots, and no I won't apologize, they are idiots as far s I am concerned.
Tolerance breeds low morals. Period.

Sounds like my town...

But yes, in general, it seems as if everyone these days feel they are entitled to have anyone but themselves provide for them. Its sicking really.

But then again I was raised differently and its expected that one should have morals, ethical values, and a little self pride.
