Who rides dirt bikes?
Dirt Bikes
I have three bikes, a ST 1300 for the road, a DRZ 400s for trails and forrest roads, and a YZ 250 for the track and trails. Of them all I like the 400 the best. It does nothing really good other than run well and make me smile. The YZ is sort of scarry fast.
My baby
I ride a KTM 450 EXC that has way too many mods to list, I probably have more money in the bike than the truck. This bike is a blast up where I ride in the woods of the pacific northwest. She will get up and go though, I had it over 80 on gravel, I'm sure I'll learn not to do that someday.

lots of pretty mods... more than you can see

Right now, I'm in the process of getting my cylinder replated. I blew the top end riding on the street. Then I fixed it without replating and blew it riding on the street again. The second time I had no other vehicle available and I had to go! I plan to sell it after it's fixed and get a bigger bike. I really like this one, but I need more power. This is my first dirt bike.

For the dirt: a pair of Yamaha 500 thumpers. 1980 TT500; and a 1980 XT500 bombed with a WB540 kit in it. Kick starts for the both of them - no magic buttons. They may be slow; but they're consistent.
2000 KX250. I just picked it up a few months ago and have been having a blast with it since. My last dirtbike was an xr100 14 years ago. I had to completely go through the KX but it's in showroom condition now. It's got everything but a big bore kit. Enzo suspension, PC pipe and silencer, Pro taper bars, and on, and on.
