When 3500 pounds meets 12000 pounds
This topped off a long and hot day for me back in July....A pedestrian attempted to cross the road infront of me, -without looking- so I jammed on the brakes and then waited for her to cross....After I had stopped completely, and had been STATIONARY for at least 5-10 seconds, this guy comes around the corner a block away..Apparently he wasnt paying one bit of attention, and just drove right into me The impact was hard enough to bend my hitch under the bed...My frame flexed enuf that the bed impacted the back of the cab....Damage to the trailer was minimal....Some people just shouldnt be driving......

Glad your ok but the other driver, what an idiot. How you miss your trailer is beyond me. I don't see skid mark from them either. Hopefully they got a big ticket to remind them of their genius behind the wheel.

I have the same trailer but not a goose neck and have had some close calls with people rear ending me. Then, they go by and give me the finger. And I'm doing the speed limit!!!!

If you had the tailgate down you woulda gotten a free,,,whatever that is.
In some states, if you rear end someone it's your fault. Make them pay for an inspection. Who knows, it may have caused a stain on your carpet.
