landcruisers get AWFUL mileage, but are built like tanks.
I still have my old 82 toy 4x4 out in the pasture. It was another one that would go anywhere. I sold it to a friend when i upgraded to full size trucks, but then one of the timing chain rails broke and jammed up in the crank gear, so I bought it back from him and now it just sits out there. I really should fix it this year, it would make a great little truck for driving around on the land here getting firewood.

After reading up and looking at them I'm thinking about getting a nice clean one to putt around town in and drive to work sometimes.... Or maybe one just to drive out to the country in and get farm tags on it or something or vice versa and do that with the Dodge.
That sucks about the landcruisers getting poor MPG... Those things are nice, I would cruise around in one of those
