The reason the fuel is so high is not because of the price of crude oil,, It is because their are not enought refineries. What the oil companies do is split the year up into quarters and only make a certain fuel at a certain time of year, when the stock pile of refined fuel is new the price is low then as the stockpile goes down the price raises. And our elected officals are allowing this to happen. This is the new corprate business motto (Screw the little man let the rich get richer)

 

Oil futures/speculation are the real problem currently, compunded by weak dollar. Energy policy has been a disaster since Carter at least. Chances are I'm simple minded...but I'd say to all the little greenies out there go green, in whatever little sphere was not brought to you by the industrial revolution.

 

i wanna smack an enviromentalist right in the mouth when they get all crazy about this stuff. and the green peace guys...they're nuts. then there is the PETA wackos, i dont know what i would do if somone threw animal blood on me, but i can almost promise you that i would loose my mind...
