What are you guys using to help conceal....

I was wondering what those of you with CHL's are using to help conceal your pistol? I picked up a new XDM 9mm 3.8 today. While it is a little smaller than my Glock .40 it isn't very easy to conceal. Wearing a pair of shorts and a normal shirt makes it pretty dang hard to "conceal" per the law. Anything you guys have found that makes the shape of a firearm breakup so it will fit the "concealed" law?

I carry my XD40sc SOB and leave my t-shirt untucked. Works pretty well with the right t-shirt.....
Then Mama bought me a Ruger LCP and it fits in my pocket easy.... No more summertime concealment problems.

Not gonna find much to "break-up" the outline. Wearing a short-sleaved, button up shirt (buttoned or unbuttoned) over a t-shirt, with the tails left out can help. Khaki shorts with a belt for extra support of the gun, with a clip type holster meant for inside the wasteband. Belly pouch's in style these days?

You didn't mention what holster you're wearing. You need a good quality IWB. Not every body is the same so a holster on guy raves about might not fit you very well.

For shirts, a good loose cover shirt works. A good loose cover shirt with print is even better. The colors/pattern break up the outline of the gun's bulge.

For pants/shorts, you may need to go up a size to give you room. If you're trying to cram am IWB in your waistband that's already fit of course its gonna show.

Last but definitely not least you need a good gun belt. The difference between a single layer and a double layer is night and day. They are firm and keep your gun from sagging on your shorts.

I have a summer and winter pistol. Winter is XD40 4" w/Paddle holster pretty easy to hide under a flanel or heavy jacket. Summer is th new Taurus slim 710 in 9mm, with a Desantis inside the pant holster, very light and small and can hide almost anywhere.

IWB works really well for me with the Taurus 745. I always wear really loose fitting shirts when carrying. I also have a couple of cargo shorts with really big pockets that the pistol can easily drop into.

You ain't kidding about more comfortable carry. I can tell on myself just small changes effect the comfort.

I carry a Colt Commander in a Monica Kuehn Leather 'Bodhi'. You could say she and I are pretty tight
