What a weekend

This weekend has been one big kick in the raspberries. First my fearless leader of a forman decieded that it would be a good idea to try to fly a load 1600 pounds over the load limit of the crane while im up 120 feet in the air sum boss. After that the next day i worked 10 min late cause i was trying to finish a weld while i was 130 feet in the air and got chewed out cause im breaking my union. Then to top that all of my gf of 2 months decied just out of the blue that this working on the road she cant handle and tells me this in a tex message.. Well thats my rant but there always next weekned oh well

better your gf let you know now instead of 3 kids later!! Someday you may thank her... These things work themselves out; about 5 years ago I had one of these weekends- my 1 1/2 year old girl was diagnosed with leukemia. Today, I look back at it and all I have learned since, and then look at my healthy girl, and all is well in the world hang in there.

As for the overloading the crane's rated capacity,

Ask the boss if he remembers this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gjib_I_ab84

Three workers in a cage suspended from the other, smaller crane to the left were killed when "Big Blue" collapsed into it.

The 4 crane operators were charged due to their decision to perform the lift outside of the crane's abilities.

To bad your union isn't as concerned about your safety as your efficient use of time.

Through adversity is the seed to greater opportunity.

working with a local contract crane company here, they have a nice, brand new 1/2 million dollar, 160 ton crane. the crane absolutely will NOT let the operator overload the crane.
but its a nice rig.

for the other problems. inconviences at most. just make sure all the money your making on the road isn't still going into her account.
