Guys, I assume it was turfed for breaking every rule about being a vendor that the DTR has. I thought it was miraculous that he went from new member to vendor in 48 hours. Maybe he's a great guy maybe Barnum was right. ks

 

Not only did he break every rule for advertising on the site, he also broke a few regarding profanity. I sent him a copy of the rules he agreed to when registering here, we shall see if he reads them this time.

I've never owned a George Foreman...... Anyway people always tell people to use the search button, do this do that. You guys (mods only a suggest from this little guy) you should have a check box at the end of the rules in like #8 font, or 6, and say if you've read these and understand check this box. If they don't check it, no access till the read it. Nobody reads anymore. Everybody knows how, but they don't use it.

 

I think they should have the checkbox randomly placed at the end of the rules. That way you'd definately have to read it to find it.

 

Actually all members get shown the rules before they can complete the process of registration. Simple fact is many just don't care enough to read them, and some care even less than that

The small number of individuals that have been banned from here, could have avoided that if they just read the rules.

 

I dont think he was able to take the bashing he got with his home made mod. It was pretty rough and we all just pointed out the bad stuff with it.

 

he sure didn't sound like a vendor when he was describing how he did it. and if he was why did he tell us how to do it? although im not smart enough with computers to understand what he was saying

He became a vendor when he decided to try and sell the stuff here.

He may not think of himself as a vendor, but it is not fair to the good people who pay to help keep this site free for everyone, if I let others get they're advertising for free.

 

Top, I must have been trying to look at his posts while ya'll were removing them. I had a heck of a time trying to stay with them. Was he also the one that posted the link to a web page selling the LOCATION of a web page with what looked like do-it-yourself electronic mods?
