just a note of warning to anyone drying their truck with any kind of squeegee or blade- i had a red half ton several years ago and routinely dried after washing with a high quality blade and it worked fine for over 1 year. one day i was drying the truck and carved a SERIOUS scratch in the hood- could'nt find any abrasive material on hood or blade. a local truck shop said to never dry any vehicle you care about with any type of blade as all it takes is one tiny piece of abrasive material to cause this kind of scratch and with factory paint being so thin it can be impossible to take the scratch out.

Keeping the blade and paint clean before wiping is key... as is using medical-grade soft silicone - which won't localize pressure enough to scratch in case you don't rinse off any abrasive material.
