Thanks.

After what I was able to do this summer [with all this damage] I am eager to get at it over the winter. I truly miss my heavy training. I have my goals set for the 06 season now.

Well, an "interesting" day to say the least. Got up about 1200 after working graveyard last night. Went outside and one of the horses had ripped his halter and it was just danglin. Jumped the fence and started helping him out of his mess. My gelding decided to help out and nipped the one I was working with. The dang little thing decided to pass it on, so, I now sport a big horse bite on the left side of my face.

Wifey wanted to take the boat out in a few days, so it followed me to work. Haven't used it at all this year. All three carbs jammed full of mud daubbers. Finally got it running good though.

Glad to hear you're doing good Scotty.

Have a great time boys and girls.

Ed

Alright, it's 05:45 and half of the day is gone already. Are you mutton heads going to sleep the rest of the day away? I do less by 09:00 than you guys do all day. Wait a minute, that didn't come out right.

Monday AM.
Clear, crisp, breezy morning.......Fall is here.
Not much on the "List".......Yet.
Hope it stays that way.
Needing a power-nap.

Drinking coffee is like spiting on a forest fire.....not much help.

Y'all B safe,

LOL! Freudian slip there Dieseldude?

There's FROST here this AM! Maybe THAT will make the leaves turn a little.

One of the guys we let hunt the property here got a decent 8 pointer late yesterday afternoon, (he SAYS! ), but it 'done run off on him'. After he looked for it for about 2 hours, he came and got me to help him find it. Of course by then it was pretty dark and we couldn't see a whole lot. Good blood trail that just ENDS. Figure the thing must be laying down in heavy cover. Hopefully it died fairly quick. Going out this AM to find it in the daylight. I HATE leaving a wounded animal like that, but we looked for about 3 hours and found nothing. With the amount of blood it was leaving, it couldn't have even got off the property, so we'll find it.

's a little strong this AM... dulled the knife cuttin' thru it!

Hey Shovelhead, if you can DRINK the coffee, it ain't done yet. No wonder it don't do nuthin' for ya! Just a pinch between the cheek an' gum...!

IT'S MONDAY! A fresh new week, up an' at 'em!

chaikwa.

Mornin All

Scotty, glad to hear your knee surgery went well and I hope you have a speedy recovery.
However, there may be long term damage from Top’s visit.

What a weekend! Races were great as was the BBQ. Beautiful day Sunday so a few of us went and played golf.

Now it’s Monday so back to the old grind. Oh well, all play and no work makes for a skinny check book.

Y’all have a great day!

Well back to the normal world again...

I had a nice Sunday... Went out with a buddy and did a bit of grouse hunting. Only got one bird in 6-7 hours of road hunting. But he was nice enough to show me where the old ghost town of florence (mining town) was. I got lots of pics. Then as we got to the highway... We run up on a Fish & Game check station... Which we went pass thinking it for the big game...(Deer & Elk). Guess what we got pulled over. Yes they want to know if your been hunting or not. Got game or not. Any Game! Never the less we got off with a warning. The local cop was there asking where the doors went to the truck? We took them off for hunting! Well he gave us a warning that you need doors on you truck if you on the highway... Yes we are just a bunch of crazy rednecks... I still like the jeep styled Dodge!

Ugghh, somebody stop my head.
Getting into work late (really late) today. Couldn't had anything to do with any of the goin's on out at the Waco meet this weekend at Crobtex's.
Brought a coke in for lunch today, hope I can drink it straight. (That gets me to thinking, I sure hope I got everything out of my truck that could get me fired for having it in my truck while parked on company property). That's how I tell if it was a good weekend or not, if I don't have to clean my truck out to go to work, the weekend was pretty boring.

Just remembered a little tip I learned this weekend:
If you are gonna crash in the bed of your truck for the night, make sure you remove/fold out of the way the ball for your gooseneck hitch

Where's the Doans?
