Doggie alarm went off at 0600 hours, ignored until 0625 hours.
Then up to start the coffee.
Donuts (No Pink Sprinkles, sorry Top) and cup-o-coffee number one all gone.
Need cup number two to get the 2nd eye fully open.

Heading out ~0930hrs for a 100+ mile poker run on the Geezer-Glide.

As for the rest of y'all.....

Dang, I wanted to start the cooler thread for the first time, being that I was up.

Got to work the graveyard due to the other guy calling in "sick".
Funny, he was fine when he left yesterday morning, but by the time he got home, he caught something.

won't be flowing till I wake up to come back for my normal shift in about 8 hours consumed enough of it last night trying to keep the eyeballs open, cut myself off about 4 hours ago in the hopes of being able to get some sleep before the next shift.

Nice an' sunny here this AM. Cool too, in the 40's. Seems more like fall except the leaves still aren't turning colors much. They just turn a dull green, dry up and fall off.

Tore one of the grapples off the bucket on my loader/skidder last week, so that's the project for today.

arhhhg who made this mud??? ooops was me, hmmmm coffe came out a bit strange today dunno why.... sunny bright, windy and finally giving the river a chance to get back where it belongs. After yesterday's fiasco with the quad box I am hoping the install of my new Alpine head unit goes much better. Then maybe I will finally finish my deer feeder.

Maybe we should start a scuttlebutt thread for REAL DTR members.

Time to start thinking about cutting firewood. Do some PM (preventive maintenance to you civilians out there) on the chain saw, splitter, trailer, ect. Need to go scout out some dead standing hickory trees ready to cut & burn.

6:50 here in California... Have a little cold still hanging in there.. boss Called this morning and told me to stay home if I have the cold.. he doesn't want to catch it and bring it to his new born.

Looked outside and see it rained last night.. Must be my fault.. Washed the truck yesterday Arrrrg... Guess I'll stgart the day with a chamois in hand after a few cups of coffee..

Nothing like waking up early and finding out you didn't have to..

Coffee thinned out to a close consistancy.... belly's churnin', thinking of a donut run since nobody can figure out these new fandangled things they call a fax.

Scott, won't be long now on the leaves. It was like somebody flipped a switch since Friday, up north. Still on the green side when you get below Big Rapids.

Sounds like we're about do for a chainsaw thread. I need to see about getting a cutting permit tomorrow to go take some firewood. Scott, would that mill you built cut a 20' Log?

Been kinda strange around here, the sugar maples are just going crazy changing colors, everything else green as can be almost. Just barely getting started. Yall are lucky I forgot it was Sunday or it would have been the Scuttbutt again.

Spent the day hooking up a DVD/Surround Sound System for a friend. After the 3rd German beer I had quite the rats nest of wiring stuffed behind the TV . Sounded good though.
