Most of the time it's not all that exciting, just small single engine general aviation stuff. Come airshow time, though, it's a different story.
Watching a C5 appear to float by looking close enough to touch is pretty freaky. And the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds normally show up, so we're treated to some practice sessions for a couple of days beforehand. Loud and close!

Still don't have all the paint cleaned up from the last honeydews - - NO MORE.More
- - now that will work. Paint cans - - NOPE. Hey, PW - - come home quick. Another one heading for KW. They are missing you down there. Can't believe it. Hopefully it won't get in a hurry to go north and not turn really quick once it gets romping. Don't need this - - I am sorry for complaining about the "little" snow storm in Alberta, honest I am.

zzzzzzzzzz ..... I was just testing the light limiting features on my I-LIDS. Test complete, test sat ... regard all further alarms.
The wife called to "chat" last night at 2330 and I finally got to sleep sometime after 0200. Reveille was at 0530. Something is dragging behind me, I assume it's my hiney.
Heading to the eyeball doctor to see if I can get the lasix thing done. Been wearing these telescopes since I was 6 so I hope it works out.
Have a grrrrrreat day, y'all.

Chilly morning, temps in the upper 40s heading for the upper 70s.
Lots to do, no ambition.
Think I'll just test the recline position on the old office chair.
Wake me up at lunchtime.
Y'all B safe,

Oh well, I kind of liked my BC glasses (when they were black, before they tried to switch to the "stylish" brown ones). I started wearing glasses at 5 and they looked exactly like GI BC glasses, they really complimented the bowl haircut I had (and still have). I still wear 'em every once in awhile around work just to see if people will say anything.
Joel
I hope they get the mess around the Baltimore tunnel cleaned up before you pack up and head south.
Ed
Quit staring out the windows at all the planes and get to work
Chris
I hope everything works out well (your back and your work issue)
Bob
Put down the paint brush and pick up a hammer and some plywood. I hope that Wilma misses you guys. Be safe and take care, I want to see more pictures of next years trip when you go lift stones with Scotty.

Mornin’
It’s Brrrrrr this morning but suppose to hit 84 deg. today. Must get out and enjoy the nice weather before it’s gone till next year.
My daughter was blind as a bat and had the lasix. She now has 20/20 vision. Hope you qualify for it Pistol. It’s takes about 5 to 10 minutes per eye. I watched my daughters being done on a TV they had set up in the waiting room. It was
We wish the company would send us back to Texas. Mr Flash built the new Centennial Medical Center in Frisco. NC is nice just a little chilly for my taste. I’m not going to whine too much they could have sent us way up north.

Well ... bitter sweet news from the eyeball dr. He said that I look like a perfect candidate (subject to futher tests) but the only hangup is that I must have a minimum of 18 months of service left by the time I get the surgery which won't be until January. I have just under 19 mos left right now.
So ... I will need to pay my buddies in personnel a visit and do a little "negotiating" to come up with the extra time. Since I write the duty schedules and there are some really good holidays coming up ... I think I should do OK.
Uncle Sam is going to foot the bill ... (Thank you all for paying your taxes) and since I am with a SpecWar command I get top priority.
Bob ... you might as well just hang a sign on the place and head north. They just keep making these hurricanes and sending them to the gulf. Hope everyone fairs well.
Time to hunt down a steak and a xtra large Hefeweisen (wheat) beer.

Scotty makes a note to rinse the coffee cup of soap more thoroughly.
A balmy 30F here. No wind, sunny and warming up.
Moving slow but sure. No more meds, ice, tensor or crutches.
My wife is amazed at how the swelling and bruising is all but gone.
I hope to get outside and tinker a bit today.
Maybe this soap laden coffee will clean out the pipes.
If we could work south of the 49th and further, we would be there.

Good Afternoon DTR!
Went to the spine cracker yesterday, and have pinched a nerve between two vertabrae... so this brain trusts solution is to place me on a table that bears a resemblance to a medival rack, and streeeeetch me till the vertabrae seperate enough to let go of the nerves.( insert screaming smiley here) Took a littel over two hours and I felt like someone had been up and down my back with a ball peen hammer. However, it feels much better today! and I can actually stand up straight, so maybe I wont drag that poor so and so behind my horse for the torture.............
Still off work for a few days till the swelling in the muscle caused by his treatment goes away...
PW I had the Lasix done in 96, went from 20/200 to 20/10...best money I ever spent, can't stand to even wear sunglasses now, let alone remember how the eyeglasses were.
Fiver? I got a spare room in the barn...just needs assembly....

Woo whoo,
Mrs. hotdram is finally coming home, not that I am excited or anything. I can finally get some sleep tonight. I sleep like crap when she isn't here. Only night I slept well was Saturday in the bed of my truck and I was "insulated".
