Hooooooowdy!
Another beeeeautiful morning in DC.
Sunny, breezy, low humididididty.
Folks in the kitchen stirin', breakfast is in progress.
Ain't had to use SR's trashcans for quite awhile.
(might need to use 'em on him as he's been a little scarce around these parts lately)

Dad blast it! 
No starter today. Pep Boys says they don't have it and can't get it, Advance, Autozone, NAPA, and IAPA don't have one. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if the local heavy truck parts store has one. I need to pick my parking spots very carefully for now...

Got most of the second planting in. Didn't get but 1,487 lbs of crookneck squash off the first planting.
5 lbs of purple hulls.
1 lb of okra.
5 lbs of snap beans.
1/4 lb cantalope.
1/4 watermelon.
2 1/2 lbs corn.
1/2 lb crookneck squash.
1/2 lb spagetti squash.
1/2 lb acorn squash.
1.4 lb turnip greens.
1/4 lb turnips.
1/2 lb collards.
1/4 lb mixed peppers.
Can't find cornbread seed anywhere.

Monday? No, this is Friday. I try to tell the boss it's not very good having Friday's on Monday's. Try to get my DTR quota built up before the weekend, and do some winding down, and people starting their week off fresh and want you to hold their hand......the hand tends to get a little bit though.

Man what a short weekend! Got another work week to look forward to. Spent half of a day yesterday cleaning up my truck only to get up to rain this morning. Oh well, at least the rain beads up real nice now.

Argh. The starter saga continues. Neither truck parts store has a starter. The one that says they can get it wants $207, 90 day warranty. Advance says they can have one by tomorrow for $140, lifetime warranty. I'll see how that goes. I hate wondering whether or not the truck will start every time I turn the key. I want to trust my truck again.
