Had the truck packed up with 65 cases of longnecks (fills the back to the bedrails and the back seat also), cruising down the highway with a couple goobers in a Powerstroke riding in the lane next to me pointing and laughing at the load.<br> I smiled, waved and poured the coal to it ... bye guys, got some beer to drink. ;D <br><br>Come on July 4th !!!<br><br>PISTOL<br><br>

Morning all,<br><br>Looks like another hot one here too, then again, the sun aint quite up yet, but I am. Popped a big veg fire near Indio last night, got sucked into the station to cover another engine. They finally cut us loose at 0230. Who needs sleep anyway? <br><br>Back on tomorrow morning, first real hot weekend of the season. Knotheads oughtta be out in force tomorrow. Lookin' like a busy weekend <br><br>Buddy of mine just asked me what to do about his mom's house, right in the middle of the bark beetle infested dead trees, wood shake roof to boot. Had to tell him the bad news, if it was me, I'd probably keep driving. Not much chance of saving it, gotta go where we can do the most good. Kinda like doin' triage on wounded.<br><br>Those of you that live in the wildland/urban interface, make sure you did your brush clearance, at least 30 feet clear around the house. Here it is FRIDAY!!! Did payrole last night and completed the job in 4 days! Gotta give these guys a bonus or something. Heard that my truck was shipped from Mexico and the ship arrived in Baltimore yesterday. May I'll have this girl in a week! Another job next week in Jersey and then it might be Virginia. Sure would be nice to have the truck for that trip!
