The Water Cooler July 30 - August 5

New week of warm humid weather in the forecast.
I sure am glad the AC here is working, but the next electric bill's gonna be a nightmare.

Snausage-n-egg sammiches with coffee in the kitchen.

Stay cool.

Not too much movement around here, I am up getting started on what is going to be my busiest week of the year so far. Wife and kid are still soozing away, how's that work?

Anyway, good to be busy, makes up for the weeks though June and most of July I was starving. Going out to hit the button on the coffee maker now..........

Ed, my elec. bill went from $103 in May to $189 last month, sure to see $220+ for July.

gonna go hang out with my boss and some other co workers today.

Is it a bad sign when you hang out with the people you work with? Oh well, gonna bust some skeets and have fun.

The PECOoooooooooooo Powerplay!

I'm on Delmarva, we are probably considerably cheaper per KW down here.
I'm about 10 miles to the Conowingo Dam, not sure if that helps or not?

Where I just moved from I was in an Electric Cooperative, I saw bills right at $415.00 this time last year.
Good news is the first two months I was here in the new pad (March and April of this year) my bill was $54 and $58 respectively. This was full 30 day reads, even before I swithced every bulb in the house over to a compact flourecent!
I thought I had hopped in a time machine back to 1985 or something

Ah, margaritas (who needs AC) and some TV, just what I need to relax tonight. Too hot to do anything outside.

Got to go play in the mud yesterday for my b-day. Finally got a chance to put my mud tires to use:

Happy B’Day (yesterday) Rob!

Our electric bill is under $100 and that’s with both units running. RVing fulltime has its advantages. The fiver is well insulated so we can make it like a meat locker in here in 100 deg weather.

How bad are some of yal hurtin for rain??

Were way behind, most of the corn looks like crap, but the stuff next to river looks good, bout like normal.

I ant sure how much we got this month since it has rained the last couple days (just some hit and miss showers not everybody is seein it) but for june we only got 1.65 inchs here at the house. My buddys over in flintville (other side of the county) got 2.50.A little better but not good.

I know yal people up north what it dry up from what I've seen on the news. From what I've heard most of texas is pretty dry but I don't guess thats anything out of the normal and over the last couple of years it ant out of the normal for us down here either.

I saw those pics of you in those trucks on the photo gallery page before you posted them in a thread. I thought you bought the thing. 120 large is way outta my league.

KVD,
Not saying its dry here, but at the last get together of the North Texas/Waco DTR club out at crobtex's pasture, they had to tie a 2x12 to BigBlue's skinny behind so he wouldn't fall in the cracks in the ground.
