Yep, 120K is a little steep not to mention 9 mpg empty = OUCH!!! They do finance those trucks for mega years so you could afford the payments if you had a mind to. I must admit they are awesome; plush inside and drive like a dream. If we moved every few weeks I might be tempted but for that kinda money and mileage I’ll run a little over weight for now. I'm hoping Dodge will get their heads out of their backsides and build a bigger truck in 07.

Up and at 'em folks!!!!!

Been at the Bat Cave since real early dark thirty (0515) getting things set up. The mod team is on the ground and things are going well, including the heat. The "weanies from McKinney" ain't used to the humidity.

To hot to cook, y’all grab ya a slimfast.

NC foothills high today will be 97 with a heat index of 103. They have warnings out here because of the heat. Heck, that’s just a normal Texas summer day.

Looking forward to our raft trip next Sunday on the Nolichucky River. Water levels are still in good shape so we should have a good ride down the rapids.

Y’all keep well hydrated and have a great day.

Started the new job yesterday... Not sure how I'm gonna handle the 20 minute commute and getting home when it's still light out. Life is good.

Tom, I'll trade you commute's.... poor thing...

Coffee's ready, nutty donuts ready. I see somebody already pushed a finger in the sprinkly donut. Gonna be the hottest day of the year today, don't let me catch anybody without your water bottle within arms reach, and we'll be drinking 1 quart as a group every 10 minutes to the hour (Tops order not mine...).

Man, y'all that are in the HOT weather can keep it. Especially when it is accompanied by high humidity. I have also read that 60% of the US has drought conditions. Times are getting rough for some of you and you have my sympathies. Makes me appreciate living in Paradise all the more. This morning we have a very cool 61 degrees and the high today will probably hit the low 80's.
Waiting anxiously for my new u-joints to arrive. They should be here by Saturday. The new AutoZone stores here have the same prices as the states and maybe even a bit cheaper. It appears that all they have done down here is to add another zero to the price to change it to pesos, which actually makes it a bit cheaper down here at the current exchange rate. I'm not complaining.

Why is it that everytime I make the effort to get in here early and make y'all , no one shows up at the cooler? Are ya tryin' to tell me somethin'?

Heatwave finally broke here supposedly. It still feels as humid as it was yesterday at this time tho. Another thunnerstorm moving in from Chicago as I speak. Maybe THAT one will dry things out a bit.

Well, the 's ready. Drink it up before it hardens up!

chaikwa.

Sittin', surfin', sippin', great way to spend a morning.
Weather'person' announced it was already 84* @ 0500 hrs this morning.

Keep plenty of cool water nearby, and drink it often.
Or in FiverBob's situation, just jump into the pool.

Hope everyone's workload is light today.

Y'all stay cool.
