Well, just looked out the window and the white stuff is coming down. Guess we'll see how long this lasts.

Time to go home - Job done.....

Had to come into the office today to change out some switches. Only time I can take down the network is on the weekends. Replaceing some old 3Com switches with new Cicso 2950's. Now everybody on the floor has a 100Meg connection insted of a 10Meg. Can you say faster.... It was also a good chance to clean out the equipment cabinet, found all sorts of cables that connected to anything.

Back to the house before the cruddy weather really starts. Weather guessers say that we will have just about everything by tomorrow. Snow, sleet, ice, freezing rain and rain.

Stay safe and keep warm.

Hey, hey, be nice now. Just about the time I fall half asleep floating around in the swimming pool with my ice tea, someone has to send in SCUD SNOW *****. That ain't nice, guys. It dilutes the ice tea when I have to DIVE - DIVE - DIVE.

OneEyeOpenBob

ps: it is really nice here today, 74 degrees, blue skies, gentle breeze. The CFO is on the patio reading with her mint julip.

Well, two inches down and no sign of letting up.

All in favor of banning Fiverbob for 36 hours, say I....
No more 74 degree weather reports from him.

Back to weather, shoveled 2 inches out of the driveway this morning.

Took a nap.

Gotta go shovel another inch and a half.

Should have just waited.

Got about 2 inches on the ground now and we now have sleet/freezing rain.

Going to be a fun tip into the office in the morning.

Did someone say something about global warming???

I work for the local phone company.
The last "Snow day" we had off was back in the early 80s.
Even in the "Blizzard of 96" when the Govt shut down for a week, we were expected to be at work at our normal time.
Kinda like alot of us "non-GSers".

Having a balmy spell here, all the way up to 15 degrees! We have natural gas, and I was really surprised. This months bill came Friday, only $168.00! I was expecting $200.00 or more. I guess setting the thermostat at 40 degrees helped some.
