A little on the chilly side here too. Somewhere around 19 degrees.
Guess I'll have to get out a long sleeve shirt to go out this morning. Going to go get some breakfast and some gas for the generator. Calling for ice and snow around these here parts and they don't trim the trees enough to keep them from taking down the lines. You can't let a 60 foot tree grow next to a 30 foot power line.

Mornin all, Have an ice storm happenin. Came in to work at 0300 to let night shift get home. Nothing but scary things on the TV. Could be worse, they called for 2-3 inches first, but now only 1 inch or so. Maybe by 1800 at shift change things will be better for my go home.

Think I will find another cup of coffee and could sure use some of them sugar pills.(hint)

Mornin' Ya'll,
Can't believe another week has flown by. Sure goes quick when you are having fun. Chilly here yet this morning - - was down to 48 last night, going up more near normal today at 74. Supposed to be mid to high 70's all week. It's about time - - this high 60's is for the birds.

Have a great week with all wheels on the ground.

Morning all

We're expecting a pretty nasty ice storm here today so I got the 5th wheel ready just in case we need to live in there for a couple of days. The last storm left us without power for 4 days, so we're looking forward to getting this one overwith.

Talking Mornin Ya'll,,,,,,,,,,,

MAN!,,,,,,,,,
Over nine hours of sleep and I feel like a new person! It seems like the older I get,,,,,,,,, the harder these 80 hour weeks are to get over. Lookin at only maybe 60 hours this coming week starting tomorrow. Maybe the 12 hour days will allow for a little more sleep than the 16 hour days.

Tis a bit nippy this mornin here also. The Mexican-Micro-Mutts didn't want to stay outside too long before they were bouncing at the door to get in. The other two outside dogs are looking at them like "what's the matter?,,,,,, it's nice out here!"

sherod,
How about keeping that stuff on your side of the mountains or send it down to FiverBob,,,,,,,,, he couldprobably use the ice for his tropical drinks.

blackjack,
I know what ya mean on the price of propane,,,,,,,, we heat mostly with a gas fireplace and it seems to run non-stop! If the price of propane keeps climbing around here,,,,,, I'll have to go back to using the electric baseboard heat,,,,,,,,,, might just be cheaper!

Morning Campers,

Chilly?,....nope, ....cold,......no that's not the word either,.....
FREEZING,... THAT's the word I'm lookin' for, temps 'round these parts.

Made my run to lewisburg W VA and back yesterday after a day at work to avoid traveling into the incoming storm today.
Whipped puppy last night when I went Lights-Out @ 2100hrs.
Belly's full from wifey's excellent breakfast.
Might have to sit and do nothing all day today (I hope).

Y'all be careful out there.

Ed

Thought for you propane folks..I use it for all heat and cooking. I set myself up with the supplier to be on a monthly plan where in the summer I get way ahead and even back up in the winter months. Mine works out to $70.00 a month. For me that is way better than choking down a full bill at fillup time. Just a thought.

Ed

Oh, and yes, there is a BIG COLD care package on the way for FIVERBOB

We had a blizzard up here yesterday and some today. I had the penguins do a GOSOUTHTOSEEBOB snow dance and I think its working.

Be safe during that ice storm. Isn't nice to have a back up plan like the 5th wheel Jack?

Yes sir! It's all warmed up and ready to go.

I wouldn't worry about it so much, but we lose power here if it even thinks about storming. Everything is overhead so I guess we're more succeptable to outages.
