I don't know how you Northern types put up with this stuff.

Temps near zero this AM, wind will crank up when the sun comes up. Snow in the forecast for tonight.

Coffee's hot. I'm NOT.

It's FRIDAY though so it can't be all bad..........

Stay bundled up - Be safe.

man o man.....the wind is already whipping it here. 30 on the OH...not sure about wind chill. If it blows any harder, I won't be able to stand up straight. Audit is over. Fish are healthy. Truck is dirty. Family is happy. Time to pick out which autometers I want...

Everyone have a nice day.

Arrow I ain't going outside,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Mornin Fellow DTR Crew,
I been here at work since midnight again and it's been a toasty 44 degrees on the second floor. ,,,,,, (BTW,,,,,,,, that would be 44 degrees Celius!)
This explains why we keep the AC running in the office all year round. As long as everything is acting like it should,,,,, there's no reason for me to go out on the second floor. Hopefully it will stay that way until "Go Home Time" @ 1600.

Have a nice day!

Good Morning everyone,
Man ... I really like Fridays. Planning on going fishing on Monday, so this might turn out to be a good weekend.

Had a retiree call me to look at his Cummins because he couldn't get it started. He stopped to refuel and drained the water out of his filter ... might have drained too much because no matter what we did, it wouldn't start.
I cracked the fuel lines to #1 and #3 and got some fuel out but it still wouldn't fire. I told him that I was starting to suspect the lift pump wasn't putting out enough PSI. I towed him home and got on the computer (DTR) to confirm my suspicions.
He called me yesterday to tell me that someone had talked him into spraying ether into it and he got it started and it runs ok now.

Am I wrong or is it a bad idea to shoot the ether to these motors ? I remember doing it to our mining equipment on a cold day to get them going and it seemed like the darn things got addicted to the stuff and needed a "fix" all the time.

Other'n that ... life is good. Have a great DTR day.

Ether and grid heaters could make for an eye-opening (or closing) experience.

Dodge cautions in the owner's manual against using starting fluid on our trucks for obvious reasons.

Morning all, been a very busy week. Glad today is Friday. Forgot to plug in the truck last night. Sounded like a load of sledge hammers in a dryer for a little bit until she warmed up. Dang cold weather

Good morning DTRonians!! Huey fax me a jelly filled and a pink donut with little sprinkiles when you get a chance please

I woke up shivering from the cold and immediately started thinking about this coming summer, sitting on the boat with Huey exchanging insults, and pouring Margaritas

Where is everybody this morning?

Bfast is a done deal. Now if it would warm up just a little more, it's out to rotate the tires. That will be my workout for the week....

Everyone have a good day and try to stay worm (except for FiverBob).
