Good morning all. I am getting ready to head home been working all night.

 

We've been alerted for possible deployment. The 39th Infantry Bde out of Arkansas with one Bn from Oregon attached. Also the 30th Infantry Bde out of North Carolina with one Bn out of either New York or New Jersey attached. In country time looks to be around February timeframe.<br><br>shortround out

 

Fellas 8),<br><br>Had a great afternoon, just went to costco, ate a nice dinner, and slide my fuel plate forward. Otherwise, just a normally boring sunday afternoon .

 

Drove to WalMart for 3 gallons of Delvac with the windows open in 95 degree heat just so I could listen to the new 4&quot; straight pipe and 12 cm housing. Naw, I'm sure I don't have a loose screw. :P

Wonder how many meetings there will be today?<br>It's rather ironic tho. The majority of the senior commanders and NCO's we presently have, were the same ones that used political influence and maybe a bit of greasing of the palms to get into the Guard back in the late 60's and early 70's, thus avoiding the draft and Vietnam.<br>As the deployment plans move forward, it will be interesting to watch and see if any of their former feelings come out. Several of the above mentioned have already jumped ship and retired.<br>To say that this could be an interesting week. will probably be an understatement.<br>Hey Top, wonder if the technological advances of the past 30 odd years has come up with a better way of disposing of human waste other than dousing with diesel and burning?<br>I'm outa here, someone has to get some work done today.<br><br>walkingthroughthelookingglasstogethe rShortround out
