Oh yeah kids had a good Christmas, got woke up yesterday morning at 5:30am by Sherman (6yr old son) screaming something about PS2 being I quote "Schweet, cool, this is tight" and the list of words go on. I was still in a fog when I walked out to see wrapping paper flying and lots more of "this is tight" which I pretty much concluded means it was just what he wanted.

Wife was happy with her diamond necklace, and tv was commanded by video games for most of the day there after. I do have to say that I even got to play a few of them which boy oh boy have they come a long way in the graphics dept from when I was a kid.

Lunch went well - standard ham with all the timmings.

Went out to return some rental movies and truck would not start 8° and batteries just were not up to the task, plugged in block heater for an hour then drug out charger - flip on boost - got that going. I guess it's time to ring out the connections and test batts.

All in all good day.

Thanks for the coffee, I need it. Roads around here are fun. Starting to melt and refreezing. Plenty of idiots, too.

Done with winter and we have only had snow once.

Mornin Folks,
Somehow the wife got the grandkids to wait till I got home at 1630 to open up their gifts. (at least the ones they didn't open at 0800). I'm off today, so rest is on the schedule because I have to work a double tomorrow. Dad and Mom gave us the owner's manual for the new generator they had bought and I had barrowed during the storm this past fall. Dad said "Sorry we got y'all a used gift,,,, but you are the only one that has used it!" Everyone was happy and the day ended with my belly being stuffed.

By the way,,,,,,,, y'all can keep that white stuff where it's at,,,,,,, they are talking about the possibility of us getting a few inches and that's a few inches too many for my taste.

Santa brought my Grand-daughter one of these for Christmas.

I had more fun putting it together than she did riding it.

I saw one similar to that in Wal-Mart the other day, only with ape-hangers on it. Not that I'm all that old, but man, we didn't have bikes that cool when I was a kid.

Lot's o stuff on the "ignore" list that need attention.
Probably have to tackle some of those this week.

Takin' Thursday off for Wifey's **th birthday.

I might be able to handle a 3 day work week.

Redskins once again ****** defeat from the jaws of victory.

Good moanin' everybody,

Man that first cup of coffee was just what the doc ordered. I trust everyone got what they wanted for X-mas ??!! SR ... you got smacked down with ice and a bum foot ... you must've been on Santa's "OTHER" list. (Should'a left out some of that cornbread for the ol fat man).

Time to go find something productive to do for a while. Cheers !!
