we probably have taken the oil and if not yet, we will. If you disagree cus prices are still high ask yourself the following.
1. who is in charge of the oil?
2. if customers are willing to pay $2.60+ a gallon would they drop the price?

i never saw or heard of an iraqi attacking our land. They are the radical muslims. They do not have a country or home.
1. who is in charge of the oil? OPEC????
2. if customers are willing to pay $2.60+ a gallon would they drop the price? Supply nad demand, it makes sense. I drive 100 miles RT each day and the highway is no less crowded nor have people slowed down due to fuel prices.
I think it is pretty disgusting that some people protest in front of an Army hospital. They are real close to spitting on the soldiers like they did on the Viet Nam vets.
My dad did 2 tours in Viet Nam and we lived thru it.
I always thought we went into this war in Iraq for regime change, not terrorists or weapons of mass destruction, not making the world a better place.
I KNOW: Most people including the leader were not Iraqi that bombed the US. Without saying it many people think it, I think it is Muslim bashing. Fact is most of the people planning and carrying out the attack of 9-11 were from Saudi. Our friend and ally.
I THINK: there are no MAJOR threats to world order that Iraq compromised or is compromising now.
I BELIEVE: there are other places in the world where our focus would provide more freedom, safety, and order (Such as the Sudan) and protect God's people for much less money and lives(both ours and theirs if you disconnect that there is a difference).
Our country IMHO has a place in Iraq at the moment to facilitate the Iraqi's however I think they need to most of the changing, it is their future. I don't think that we would have wanted anything different when we defeated the British......say what would our forefathers have said if the French had forced their beliefs on us.
No matter how you put it. In Iraq we are the invaders.
Iraq did not attack the US. Iraq did not attack the US.
If I was to look around the world right now there are more important places that I would go to fight evil. I would also would save more lives with less money. It would also not influence the world oil situation although the middle east situation is not the only reason for high oil prices right now. But thats another story.

Bin Ladin and his followers attacked our land. Their people live in several countrys, not one. They are not a single country, or even a complete religion...they are a way of life. There are facts: Not all Muslims are responsible, but all responsible were Muslims. Iraq harbored enemies of our contry, and Bin Ladin was strongly connected with Iraq. Iraq wouldn't cooperate with our hunt for those responsible, and refused to turn over the people we were looking for, so we invaded and overthrew the crooked government that was partly responsible for what happend on 9-11.
What exactly do you consider weapons of mass destruction? We found short and long range missles. We found biological warefare on the same site as those weapons. We found evidence of nuclear testing at the site. But because the payloads weren't IN the missles, they aren't considered WMDs. hey, I don't need to be slapped in the face...I can put 2 and 2 together and see what they had.
So who was aginst us being there, and made major accusations against us? Lets see, France, who depends on middle east oil. Russia, who supplied weapons and ammo to our enemies.
So I suppose we should have slapped Iraq and sent them to bed with no dinner. No thanks, its time we stand up to our enemies.

Japan was set off by a situation about them getting steel supplies from us and thought that they could sink our whole navy in one shot at Pearl. They thought as the Arabs do now, that America was cowardly because they were not in the fight. Undoubtably the Arabs will find out the same as Japan did what kind of country we are. What did the Japanese Admiral say after his attack on Pearl, "we have awaken the sleeping giant"
Congress declared war on both Germany and Japan as a result of the Pearl Harbor bombing. I am sure that in essence you are right, that Japan had figured that we would be tied up with Germany also and stood a good chance of winning. It has be reported many times that one mistake that they made was not taking Hawaii after the bombing. They easily could have.
As has been mentioned, anti war groups have always been with us, only new they have the media to spread it around. No matter what you do in life, you will have those against what you are doing. In America we have free speech which allows this to happen. Thousands found out what would happen if they disagreed with Saddam. They did not make the news, just the obituaries.
Hot subject. I have earned the right to voice my opinion on the matter. I don't think the objectors of the war should attack the men and women that have made sacrifices for the country. Attack the policies? OK.
We soldiers all signed the line saying we would support the objectives of the Commander in Chief. We as a Country elected him! I signed to protect the Nation. National Guard! I didn't expect to come over to Iraq and protect our interest here. I do though every day...
It's all about making the commitment and then honoring your word. How many of us say things that we never intended to do? Never trained to die. Trained to live. Things you see over here there is no training for. You just hope it doesn't happen.
Be proud of the American Serviceman, they support you.

Anyone who would harass a wounded soldier for doing his duty, should be rode out of town on a rail wearing a tar and feather coat.

Must explain for you, see most people don't know what a third rail is unless they have been associated with the New York Metro area. The electric subway cars and before them the trolly cars have a third rail in the middle that carries the power, a plow on the car rides it. For a good jolt you stand with one foot on the third rail and one on the wheel rails.
Real good thought though. They supposedly come in peace and preach peace, but radiate hate and create hate. Getting spit on at LAX used to really generate a lot of peace, but this is just inexcusable. There should be some law to arrest them on, I cannot see this as "free speech" any more than yelling fire in a crowded theater would be. In a civelized society this should not be allowed.
one of my brothers from the chAir Force sent this to me, hope you guys enjoy. I've had mixed results whenever I try this on protestors.
PEACE ACTIVIST ETIQUETTE
Now that our nation is at war, many of us will encounter "Peace
Activists"
who will try and convince us that we must refrain from retaliating
against
the ones who terrorized us all on September 11, 2001, and those who
support
terror.
These activists may be alone or in a gathering...most of us don't know
how
to react to them. When you come upon one of these people, or one of
their
rallies, here are the proper rules of etiquette.
1. Listen politely while this person explains their views. Strike up a
conversation if necessary and look very interested in their ideas. They
will
tell you how revenge is immoral, and that by attacking the people who
did
this to us, we will only bring on more violence. They will probably use
many
arguments, ranging from political to religious to humanitarian.
2. In the middle of their remarks, without any warning, punch them in
the
face.
3. When the person gets up off of the ground, they will be very angry
and
they may try to hit you, so be careful.
4. Very quickly and calmly remind the person that violence only brings
about
more violence and remind them of their stand on this matter. Tell them
if
they are really committed to a nonviolent approach to undeserved
attacks,
they will turn the other cheek and negotiate a solution. Tell them they
must
lead by example if they really believe what they are saying.
5. Most of them will think for a moment and then agree that you are
correct.
6. As soon as they do that, hit them again. Much harder. Square in the
nose.
7. Repeat steps 2-5 until the desired results are obtained and the
idiot
realizes how stupid of an argument he/she is making.
8. There is no difference in an individual attacking an unsuspecting
victim
or a group of terrorists attacking a nation of people. It is
unacceptable
and must be dealt with. Perhaps at a high cost.
We owe our military a huge debt for what they are about to do for our
children and us. We must support them and our leaders at times like
these.
We have no choice. We either strike back, VERY HARD, or we will keep
getting
hit in the nose.
Lesson over, class dismissed.
