Cold smoking...

Just wondering if this video (played continously) would put a person to sleep?

http://www.firepunk.com/coldidle.wmv

I plan on testing the theory tonight. Let me know how horrible it is!

brandon.

(BTW: if you had smell-o-vision, you'd be able to smell the subtle aroma of raw wonderful diesel on a cold morning.)

Brandon,
I have conducted a series of experiments and I have come to the following conclusion: One does not need to play your video continuosly to put them to sleep, it works immediately, I was put into a semi-comatose state before the end of the first viewing.
This is just a hypothesis, as I have not had enough time (too busy sleeping) to do more tests to prove this as a "law".

If that put's you guys to sleep, stay away from my truck!!!

Even after it's warmed up, 2 minutes of idling and it looks like that.

It's only got 270,000 miles, would that and the 300's have anything to do with it?

The one thing that will get me to fall asleep is waiting for it to download with dial-up!

Shoot another one around the middle of February.

Mine, stock, fogs the next door neighbor if the temps below 30°F.
No stacks, just right exit stock exhaust tip.

Beats watching paint dry, but not by much.

That video was about 5 minutes into the 1400 rpm warm up cycle after being plugged in for 3 hours @ 40°F OAT. My truck likes warm weather better... I'm moving to Texas.

I parked under a street light the other night at the pizza shop. I let the thing idle on the cooldown timer and when I came out 3 minutes later it had 2 perfect columns of pretty blue smoke. I love my truck!!

Ok. I've been having issues with my FASS pump freezing up overnight with -18F treated diesel. It's been frozen the last 2 mornings. Monday it was 7F and Tuesday it was 2F. The truck's been plugged in both times, but the FASS pump back by the fuel tank freezes. The pump will run for about 3 revolutions and it stops. After 30 minutes with a propane heater it works again. I managed to talk my buddy into shooting the video for me:

I think your truck hates cold weather even a little more than mine.

Yours also likes warm weather more than mine, too.
