Veterans memorial Ideas?

Greetings all
I am a Member of a Joint Veterans Council Here in Brookings and we are going to build a Memorial to all Vets of all Wars Branches and Organizations.
If you have any Ideas for such a memorial or Pics of your local ones I would be Honored to look at them for ideas.

Also I am interested to learn if any other communities have such a group. We have Reps from the American legion, Marine Corps League, VFW and V V A. We Meet Monthly and do joint ventures such as Feeds and Hot Dog sales. It started out rocky with the old my group is better attitude but after 4 years we are Running like a Bombed Cummins.

God Bless You and Yours.

Good luck on this venture Richard, as a former VFW Commander and District Chaplain, I saw the headaches first hand that you encounter trying to do something like this.

If I can be of any help, please let me know,
Lary
