John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Bo th were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot i n a car called 'Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the kicker...

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

 

I read this a long time ago and its creepy how similar things can be! Weird.

Hmm. Weird is correct. I am a history major and have NO explanation. Strange.

 

The first time I read the last line I thought it said "he was, well something other then, with Marilyn Monroe".

 

This is incorrect, he was born 1838.

The rest however is CRAZY weird.

 

The day lincoln was shot was april 14th 1865. the day was a thursday.
November 22nd 1963 was also a thursday.

Most acounts have booth being found hiding in a barn and being shot later dying of his wounds.

 

Well, that settles it ..... just goes to show you shouldn't ride in a Ford (Lincoln).

The first time I read it I thought it was a joke re: the Marylin Monroe thing. Then I re-read it! Yes, I have a dirty mind, I know.

I will disagree with the Lee Harvey Oswald!!
The military machine had Kennedy shot.
If you have goon to the "Plaza" to form your own opinion, you will see it was a set-up.
If you were a sniper in the school book depository, you would of shot first when the motorcade turned left and drove 2 blocks before turning right.
The first shot, angles were all wrong-imposible as noted. Back of head blowing off was a front shot.

All assasins are remembered by full names!!!
BTW, with story as in post 1 was out a week or so after the murder of the pressident Kennedy.
