VADTR guys, I swear I'm not rich but......
This is why I didn't make it to the VADTR shootout. I had to go to Philly and pick up the wife's new/used conversion van. All I can say is SWEEEEEEET!!!!!
All wheel drive, 18" rims, Leather, 22" Monitor, DVD, VCR, Blaupunkt Surround sound, doors on both sides, everything!! Another E-bay special. I just never learn, eh?!?!
It's a 2003 w/ 25,000 miles and I paid half what they go for new...
It does seem a little underpowered though. I think this 5.3 needs a boost......

Maybe a nice Cummins 4bt? Should do nicely in that and get good millage. A lot of people hate vans but when it comes to a family and room, nothing beats them. That is a sweet ride.

Ya, a Cummins would have been nice. They actually make the GM vans w/ diesels now but they just started this year and they run about $60,000.00. Too much for me. I drove 210 miles home and the fuel needle was only at 3/4 tank. Not too bad I guess. Nice and comfy.......

Somehow the blinging rims don't look right on a van, but maybe thats just me.
Looks good. Good move too- buy the lady a van so you can get twins
You missed the cannon and a whole slew of weaponry. I'll upload some of the pics I took soon.

Nice looking van.
I'm really jealous, that would be the perfect family van for a trip.

It's only missing one thing,,,,,,, the sound-proof plexi-glass partition behind the front seats! We take a small DVD player for our grandaughter and I run it through the rear speakers in the truck for her,,,,,,,,,,,, bad thing is,,,,, she loves ScoobyDoo,,,,, and even tho the had a dozen SD movies,,,,,, she wanted to watch the same one over and over and over. Two hour trip and I could recite the entire script!

..my grand-daughter is the same way with Thomas the Tank Engine.
No that's not them, but yes she DID get Mom & Dad to drive her from southern Virginia to Pennsylvania to see him.

Ah! The "Truckster"
Ed, you never cease to amaze with your knack for searches for this stuff!!!
We've had a portable DVD player for 3 years and it worked great. This thing is awesome though.

Nope. Now the garage is too big since neither vehicle will fit in it. Actually the truck will barely fit inside but it's still too long to close the door behind it. The van, on the other hand, is way too tall!!
The wife loves it and she has miraculously stopped complaining about all the $$$ I am spending on the truck.
I guess I should call Rick D about his Twins before she snaps out of it!!!!
