Uploaded my HEMI video
I don't know if this is allowed, but if you go to youtube and search for "huppertz" and "hemi" you can see my hemi road runner (and glimpses of me) from the mid '80s!

I like the tail lights... Don't see that type often.
cool burnouts too. Gave you 5 stars.
Did you ever think back when taping this that it would be sharable the way it is? I had an 80's VHS video I wold love to find again.

Ok, I'm burning my 2,000th post. I paid $5,000 for that car, with 24K original miles on it. I sold it for $6,000 after I got married because we were living in an apartment with no garage. I know it would get ripped off or parted out, so I pulled the trigger. The current owner want's $80K for it, but that's because he doesn't know what he has. It's actually worth six times that. I ran all the stats on that car once and it came down to one of 11 made just like it!
I once got 6 tickets in one stop in that car, it was like crack cocaine to me, so it was good that I got rid of it. I almost put it in the guard rail the 1st day I had it! It was wonderful violence!

After the Hemi car, I found a 1974 Cuda 360, and paid $500 for it. The original engine was gone, and in it's place was a wheezy 273ci with the 360's heads, so it had low compression. I sold that engine for $350, and rebuilt a Super Commando 383 I had laying around. I hand cut the pistons bringing the compression ratio down to 10.567:1. Then I had an aircraft mechanic balance it to within 1/3 of a gram which allowed me to use solid motor mounts. It was really fast. I put a Cheetah manual valve body in the 727 and proceeded to blow 3 trannies! I sold it for $2,500 because it was getting in between my wife and I. I definately spent more time with the car than her at that time. Still married after 22 years, no regrets.
Sweet car!
One of my wifes> nieces> husband collects some of the old Mopars. Pretty sure none have Hemi's, but nice just the same...
Just a couple of the restored rigs (he had 4-5 more in various stages)
