I just saw the article about the updates to the exterior and interior on the 2009 Dodge Ram 1500's but didn't see any specific mention of the 2500. I made the assumption that the 2500 would be updated at the same time but I thought I would ask. Anyone know?? Any info would be appreciated!

I ask b/c I have a 2007 5.9 4x2 but am now realizing I really need 4x4. I'm going to take a hit trading my 07 for an 08 4x4 but that's what I get for making a bad decision in the beginning!! After reading the article I'm wondering if I should hold off...

the heavy duty trucks are usually updated the following year or so.

the compact trucks will get it first, then the 1500 series, then the heavy duties.

 

sounds like 2010 according to a video i saw from a thread on here.

also, the designer said this next change won't follow the 1500's. the 2500/3500's will apparently be different from the 1500's. just like the ford trucks. . .

2010 you should start seeing the new style around early 09. not changing the drivetrain, but some good body mods.
