Shorts, you better turn that bottle over and drink from the bottom, the top part is empty.

Morning gang. It's 39 this morning in Duluth headed to about 60, light snow in the northern counties.

Did anybody notice the stock market yesterday? If you didn't it fell 313 points the day after the election. Hmmmm.... I wonder what that means? Hmmmm......

Good morning folks, our dear doggie seems to be recovering. The vet gave him two big doses of anti-biotics on Tuesday and we haven't any vomiting or bloody stool since then. He hasn't really been allowed food since Monday so he hasn't actually had any stool at all. So, we think things are getting back to normal. DW is going to give vet a quick call this morning to make sure that we can start re-introducing food. The poor little gaffer was stalking us last night any time we did anything that that suggested food might become available. He was pretty old and skinny to start out with and he has lost at least a pound since this all started so I sure hope we can start feeding him again.
On a weather note, things are about to get exciting again. My weather alert alarm went off at 4:20 this morning to let me know that we have a winter storm and heavy snowfall warning in effect. It won't be as bad as the US NE but it still going to be a poor couple of days. We are supposed to have high winds, cold temps (lows of -10C) and get about 25cm of snow over the next 36 hours. I shouldn't rant too much as I do live north of the 49th parallel, but it is still the first week of November for heavens sake!!
Have a good day and play safe everyone.

PS - for those of you who subscribe to the thread, just laugh at the fact that most of my posts seem to have 2 or 3 edits. I guess I need to start proof-reading BEFORE I hit submit.

haha Poor dog aching for food. When you start food I would venture to guess it would be easy bland stuff like chicken broth and steamed rice. Least that is Chester's first meals after a digestive system reboot.

I don't know about the weather you're getting. Sounds like one of those get your supplies, get in a shut the door kind of thing.

Morning everyone. Shorts, Fronty......better lay off that hard stuff.....too many bad college memories for me....wait, most of the time that stuff got to me I didn't remember anything . Anyhow, TG, hope your doggy continues to heal.....be careful during the storm.

Scott, the donuts are starting to show their age.....had to scrape some funny colored stuff off of 'em this morning. Coffee was a big "pick-me-up"

I believe Shorts might need some of it so I saved at least 1 cup for her.

Off to put my front drive shaft back in. Trying to track down a funny, drive-line related noise......it's "driving" me crazy.....sorry, it was funny to me for a split second but the moment has now passed.....checked the brakes, unit bearings, ball joints, and front drive shaft yesterday....noise still present. Thinking it's probably rear u-joints......AGAIN!!!!! If thats the case the new ones will be set #6 in 302k miles.
