Swore Id never drop that kind of $$$ into a dog EVER. Always loved my dogs and hated when they had to go but this one, She's a real keeper. I'm in to her for over 5K this year. But she has a clean bill of health and plenty of life left in her.

Still got a chance or 2 on a moose yet if I want to hunt at -25* on snowmachine or there is a good chance on a winter Caribou in December too. I won't starve but I hate seeing an almost empty freezer..... Not good for my girlish figure....... The "Parent Shuffle" is fun and much easier with Mama staying home. If you send your Hubby here with tools, you may not get him back... Got lots of work to do but plenty of play too.....

Good morning everyone, what a glorious day. The snow has finally stopped and the skies are clear. Once things warm up a bit, I will be spending a few hours plowing snow, I just have to decide whether to use the quad or the truck. On an even better note, little doglet finally had a bowel movement. After all the chaos earlier in the week, the antibiotics got thing calmed down but he hasn't had a BM since. He has been back eating food since mid-week so was starting to get very concerned. All seems to be good now.

Ok, off to make some breakfast and then ibgetvto be the plow fairy (name the neighbors gave me because I plow them out after every snowfall).

Oh yeah, coffee is on and the box is full of Krispy-kremes.

Morning! My neighbor came over and hung out last night. Guess she heard my invite for everyone to come over. She's good people.

Tallguy, glad your pup has got things moving. Don't work too hard today, it's Saturday.

JWBM, were you hunting coyotes last night? Cause I got a little sad wishin' I was running out the door going with you.

Easy Saturday here. The weather is odd. Very windy for the last few days, windy today too. I think we're suppose to get hit with a cold front. It has been making it to the low 80s here during the day.

Morning all. Sounds like there's lots going on with everybody. Heidi, interesting the doc said he could fox you. Obviously he never looked closely at the info in your chart or he would have noticed you're past normal child bearing years......... (tippy toeing toward the fallout shelter)

I'd heard that about you but didn't believe it... until now.

Morning all.

Coughed and hacked my way thru an early CPR/1st Aid class this morning. Beautiful day here in the 60's and all I feel like doing is hacking up a lung and going back to bed.

I go to the deck and talk with them (kip kip (hello). low rumble (don't eat the cat) cow cow (my area). big forest area, no cattle. no real need to shoot. fox? yup, everytime. bring diseases. we'd have a blast anyways TX girl!

T raddy blue eyes- doc fox me? glad you didn't hit the "U" type key. (say it out loud...) I figure I will now go to a mason or mechanic to get fixed. more appropriate, heheh

Yo...

No time to catch up... just dropping in to say hi.

Things are ok. Celebrated the Marine Corps birthday here today... much different than the stateside celebrations I'm used to.

Hope everyone is well.

mad

Afternoon all. Go to hear from you Mad, have a happy birthday.

I got my honeydew list done but I hurt. First the winch cable for the plow on the quad broke and I had to lift it by hand and use a rope to hold it up to get it back to the barn. Ok, time for plan B, plow with truck. It turns out the battery in the truck is done. I had a charger on it for 12 hrs last Sunday but it was dead again today. It is at least 10 yrs old, so it doesn't owe me anything (this is plow truck, not my Dodge). So, then I had to install a new battery in the truck. Luckily I happened to have one that would do the job in the barn.
The temp got so low last nit that the greenhouse heater couldn't keep up. Not a major crisis, we figured that was going to happen last night, so DW picked all of the remaining tomatoes, jalapeņos and tomatillos on Thursday evening. It still meant that I had another job today. Heater is now out of greenhouse and in the basement and the blankets and tarps are off the greenhouse and put away in the barn.

I think it is now time for a little relaxing.

Oh yeah, plowed out the neighbors too, their driveway is about a 1/4 mile long.
