Morning folks....struggling with crud trying to get my brothers body released so I can lay him to rest.....how a divorced spouse can so poison a child's mind to the point you can't get her to sign a simple release should be criminal.

I can't believe my only concern was to try and liquidate his simple assets and to be sure his daughter got EVERY penny of it, when now I can't trouble her long enough to simply sign a release and have it Notarized so I can take care of business......Nothing to fight over just so much false hate from his ex she can't be bothered for a simple release.

This is why I don't talk trash to my kids about my Ex....no matter how I feel about her or the things she did, she is still their Mother and deserves their respect....the problems we had are our business not theirs.

Lary,
Every time I hear stories like this, I have to hit my prayer bones and thank God for the beautiful lady He arranged for me to meet, fall in love and marry. Over 50 years of amazement every day. Wow, I am soooo blest.

Off to ticker doc - - later.

sooooo sorry for you and family Top! eyeroll with frustration. years as judge, mediator, arbitrator learned worst thing is divorces and funerals , brings out the secret worst of folks.

give the idiot the 300 dollar processing fee to release or have her arrested for obstruction. I am walking down there now.......
what a bitter, power trip. God will provide. hope he pierces the darkness of hearts and clears some minds.

still coming down there to smack some sense into the . and I had to mention walmart people yesterday. my fault.

providing food to the masses here: bacon, slow cooked pulled pork with sweet sauce, coleslaw, fresh tomaters, corn and salt potatoes, , beans n greens, fresh sourdough bread, and a nifty squash n fruit salad ala Amish people. would never had guessed it could taste good, but it is lip smackin'!

Heidi, we have a strong Amish presence in Sarasota - - in fact, one portion of town where so many life is lovingly called "Whisker Town." Many great restaurants in town - - - one quite famous for their pies. Their peanut butter pie is absolutely disgusting - - why? Cuz I can't quit with just one piece. .................................

Lary, a special Blessing on you for your efforts. Sorry to hear of the hurdles. Times lik yours are hard enough without extra drama.

Great spread! I am going to add some old fashioned fried baloney. Yup, spelled correctly.. This is the good stiff, sliced 1/2 inch thick. (I found a secret source!)

Good morning everybody. Coffee, hmmmmmm gud. Venison gravy and biscuits to go with the coffee, hmmmmmm guder. Thanks.

Lary, sorry to hear about your family problems. Things like that are very hard on everybody.

Yesterday afternoon on the way home, someone opened the heavenly faucet again and the heavy rain arrived with a vengeance. Yesterday's forecast was 'cloudy' on one site and 'possible showers' on another site. The rain was so hard that within 10 minutes some parts of the road were starting to flood. Within 20 minutes some areas of the road were completely covered with water over the curbs as the drain could not handle that large volume of water. Lower areas had about a foot of water. Have not seen an official number yet, but my guess from experience is that in less than an hour, we had just over an inch of rain. Felt sorry for a motorcyclist riding just ahead of me, but had to laugh at the same time. On a 3 lane highway, watched as a car drove through quite deep water with a guy on a bike in the next lane. The car put up a wall of water and the poor guy on the bike had to drive through a waterfall. He vanished for a few seconds in the water. For you folks in dry California, check this out:

Tomorrow the truck goes into hospital for a major operation. Getting a new clutch assembly installed. Absolutely hate to have others work on my truck and would much rather do the job myself, but this transmission is just too heavy for me to handle.

Going to follow Bob's example and head out soon to another adventure.

Plot thickens I forced an autopsy...his ex tells the Coroner she hasn't seen him in years but according to the manager of the park his 5th wheel is in she stayed with him the last 2 weeks.

On top of that they claim he was dead a week before they found him but the lights on his camper went on and off several times while he was supposed to be dead. I am making a nuisance of myself now with the Law out there I want answers and by god I will get them.

Lary, keep after the truth. Sounds like a real mess.

I enjoyed the fried baloney so much I had it again for lunch today at work! Got just enough left to do it all over again tonight. I have a funny gurgle going on, but i think I will be ok....

Army auditor for my AF program is coming by in the morning. I can't wait to see what she wants me to provide this time. I have a a 3 inch stack of computer reports for her. I have no idea how this will work, but I'm beginning to think the best answer is to provide about 8 more inches. Oh well, guess that's why I make the big bucks! (not)...

Lary, maybe her not signing is a blessing of sorts, only time will tell.

Heidi, you best behave yourself.

Fiver, tell me again what town you're close to.

Rick,

My best guess is his Ex is afraid she is going to get stuck with the funeral finances causing her to lie.....at least that is what I hope.....that isn't the case but I can't tell her that because she won't communicate.

What ever the reason I will get to the bottom of it, only a matter of time...I hope for her sake I am right.

Thanks Everybody for the prayers and thoughts
