Tribute to Lary's Real Twin Breakroom 9/13/15 - 9/19/15

Happy Sunday All Y'All,
For breakfast we have scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, toasted English muffins and an assorted fruit tray. It is now late on what has turned into a super duper windy Saturday night. Have an awesome start to the week all y'all and sorry about your twinner bro Lary.
Peace and happiness from where the foothills of the Canadian Rockies meet the prairies.

Be safe you 'uns!!

Good morning all. Sean and Bob, yuh dun gud. Nice way to start my day.

Yesterday was another stupendous day weatherwise. Mostly brilliant blue sky and a few clouds, nice temps, but about 5ish, the storm clouds were collecting in the NE and about 20:30 sudden large drops of rain started. No thunder or lightening, but just a large amount of hard rain. The thunder only came an hour after the rain started. Today looks like it will be a repeat of yesterday.

Installed a new WiFi range extender or repeater (D-Link AV 500) in my house a couple of weeks ago and it is weird. Most of the time it works perfectly, all lights green, but every now and then in some parts of the house the signal drops out to almost nothing. It's my wife who uses it and it is driving her nuts. Can't figure out why the stupid thing is doing that.

Off to enjoy a coffee and to start my day. Hope that y'all have a great day.

Nice spread for a nice group.

Hit 29C here yesterday. Awesome day.

Fall is my favorite season.

yes, sending a Prayer for the piece of you that went with him. shot of the good stuff for you in your time of reflection. hugs to family.

friend was in shock today: pointing out leaves off trees, arguing about green changing to brown, very cold wind this AM.....guess he was not ready for fall, too much to do before winter....muh ha ha

well ,Sean, I am expecting good breads, meats and canning goods to be done as you gaze onto the prairie in the fall. mmmmm, can smell the sizzle...

felt like a cowboy, worked all day in the rain fixing cattle fence. then had coffee and biscuits around the fire to warm up/dry out. should start carrying my harmonica......

using winter caribou hide to warm my legs now. better than a hot bath...
thinking of hot chocolate but won't admit it.....

Afternoon all. Had a couple minutes and since I finally got the new app loaded in the new phone things look easier although I have to learn something else. Been working in Florida the last 3 weeks and have made some new friends. I'd post a pic but I haven't figured out how to yet from the app.

Afternooner from Eastern NC...

Rick, where at in Florida?

Stan, check to see if any other electronic equipment is coming on when you have the signal loss... microwave, garage door opener, maybe even an air conditioning unit... something might be interfering with the signal.

Holy cow, I should have named this 'The Reunion Breakroom'. T-Rad, RR1, John_P and Madhat all in one day - wow. Almost like old times.

JWBM - we have already made 20 quarts of dill pickle slices and tomorrow we will be making pickled beets. There are too many packages of peas and green beans in the freezer to even try and count. At last count there are over 100 spaghetti squash about to be harvest - just giving them every chance before a frost gets here. It is just DW and I here so it is a good thing we have lots of friends and family to eat the produce - either fresh or preserved.

Tonight is roast beef with mashed taters, Yorkshire puddings and assorted veggies from the garden. We are big believers in the 1 mile diet - see how much of you food can be grown from within 1 mile of your house - veggies, beef and lamb are raised in distances you measure in yards from where we live

Have a safe Sunday everyone.

Wow, Rick - - you are getting close to us. Careful of those critters. They look cute, but boy are they fast. Careful of our skeeters too - - they are huge and hungry and after all our rains, they are having fun.

Lazy day, today. Grab a cup on my way out. ....................
