Tough times call for tough measures!!
With the cost of fuel going up so high I decided to pull the EZ off for a while. I miss the power but my in town MPG has already gone up almost 2 points in just a day and a half! The truck actually doesn't feel that bad on power without the box. Who knows, I may just leave it this way until summer..... when I plan on stacking something along with the EZ.

Thats MR Hoss to you buddy!
Why didn't you just take your foot out of the pedal?? If it works as advertised, the EZ is SUPPOSED to give you an increase in fuel mileage of 10% (if you continue driving the same). My truck is seeing between 18 and 19 mpg mixed driving and between 21 and 22 mpg on the highway. That is hand calculated and using the same pump every time I fill up. Before the EZ it was 17-18 mixed and 20-21 highway.

I don't even consider my truck as coming close to being BOMBed (yet) but the few mods that have been done have really perked up driving performance and experience. I don't race, pull a sled or a trailer, but do drive it daily and am glad I've done what I have to her. My mileage has decreased a bit when I drive it , but when the wife drives it, the mileage has increased I can only speculate it will decrease further for me if my hopes (new stronger transmission, better pump, TWINS - a guy can dream, rework brake system, etc.... ) come true in the future.

I've tried driving very passively and the mileage did not change. Edge's claim, at least on my truck, is false. On the other hand, with the EZ the overhead tells me I'm getting 17.5 mpg when I'm really getting 14.5. That makes me feel better..

I ended up turning my comp off. I did a 2 hour trip with it on 1x1 and I got worse mileage that way than I did with it turned off. Heck, I get better mileage with it on 3x3 than 1x1. Explain that one to me.

Just an observation on my part but........
I wonder if you dont find out in the end that you will lose more mileage without the EZ in place simply because you will be pressing down harder on the pedal to make up for the loss of performance that you have become accustomed too?
Having a Properly valved truck myself, I don't have any experience with all those electronical doodads, so can't speak from experience.
Curious though if this does in fact seem to end up being the case.

I got too much money in this engine to turn everything off so I'm going to drive and enjoy it although I do hate bending over at the pumps every time I fill up. Hey Mr Oil Company, was it good for you too?
People think electricity is expensive, this oil thing ain't over yet and it seems like there are no controls over it like in the electric industry.
