Toilet tanks

Had to replace my toilet today.
I was replacing the wax ring and dropped it about 2" onto the tile floor thus busting the base.
So I went to the Depot and could have just replaced the bowl but what they had that would fit my tank made me feel like I was sitting on the floor so I bought a complete Kohler 1.5 GPF.
I'm not happy with the wimpy flush. I wish I could find a 5 or 3.5 GPF tank that would fit the new toilet.
Anyone know of a place that makes toilet tanks?
Maybe I can have one custom made!!!

I don't know what brand it is but my BIL just replace his toilets with some that will flush a pot full of golfballs. They are awesome. About $275 each if I remember right. Not something that the Depot has, he bought them at a plumbing contractor supply house.

The newer model water conserving tanks are pathetic. Sure they save water, but if ya gotta flush twice I swear most Greenies are just not all there.

many "conservation" tanks simply employ a plastic spacer that reduces the volume of water in the tank, if you remove it, it will flush with more water/strength...

Here is the solution to your problem: http://www.flushmate.com/SeeItWork/

You could flush a cat down the crapper with this thing if you wanted...

The Kohler that I bought is supposed to do just that but the tank is a tiny little thing. (No plastic spacer). I wanna put some flush to this bad boy!!!

My uncle is a contractor. I had him find me an old one in ggod shape from a remodel, and put new seals and guts in it. Not recommended for cats to be within 3 feet of it.

Wow, we got one of those at work...

First time I did a courtesy flush (while still sitting), I thought I was going to end up in the sewage treatment plant.

Hare trigger, suddenly Kaboom type flush.

Nobody has been able to clog that bad boy.

Last I heard, you had to go north of the border to buy a new toilet that wasn't "water conserving". I also heard that it was not yet illegal to bring a new toilet back across the border for personal use. Maybe someone further north can update us on whether that is still the case.

Dont get caught the enviro cops will be after you. It is against the law to use old ones here.

Toilet tank? what the heck is that? Around here we dig a hole and set the outhouse over it... When it backs up, we dig another hole and move it a few feet
