Times like this I wish I had a BIG bumper! [video/road rage!]

This moron in a BMW SUV kept cutting me off, being a TOTAL moron. He was in the left lane, a ways behind me, and I in the center lane. Guy in front of me jacks his brakes, so I move left and keep going. Well this moron in the BMW comes up faster up on my tail and starts riding it, so now we start playing I guess. He finally passes me (I'm already a few MPH over, the other lanes are full, I'm not changing my driving for this idiot), gets in front of me, starts trying to put me into the wall, into his rear end (shut up ), and everything else stupid. I think he was mad that when he tried his "fly-by", my truck was able to keep up.

So I told her to pull out the camera and get some video. This was mild compared to some of his other antics, but we ran out of memory because the concert from the other night was still on there.

I swear if I could have hidden my license plates and I had a good front bumper, and nobody was around that idiot would have been planted face first into the guardrail. A tap of the brakes to signal you're ******-off is one thing, but not cutting in front of me and jacking on them slowing down to 20-30 mph on the interstate!!! If the fast lane didn't have a shoulder I could have pulled off onto I would have rammed right into him.

Complete moron. I wish I could see the plate in the video and run it...pay his precious little BMW a visit.

Just right-click/save as.

There's the video.

Thanks, I was wondering how the truck sounded...I'm on a laptop so it sounds like a tin can right now.

Ha. I like the ol' lady's reaction. In all seriousness, I would have followed him home...just to bust his chops.

Yeah I did my best to edit it out with the MS video program...did OK I guess. I woulda loved to follow him home with a butt-whooping, but he bolted. Plus them New Yorkers, you never know what they're carrying. Moves like that do warrant a butt-whooping though, when you put my and my family's safety in danger like that. Wasn't a simple "brake check"...it went way beyond that. When you start trying to put me into a wall, we have problems.

It would have been really bad for him if he hit his brakes hard enough while you where videoing, to cause you guys to have an accident. Video evidence on your behalf to the police would be very bad for him.

I have to agree it is all fun and games until they realize that their purty little Bimmer can't even out run a big ole' diesel truck!

Road rage is not the answer! Though I wish it were! I just get on the phone 911 and report them to the local Highway Patrol.

This way it keeps me out of jail and I don't waste my expensive non- traceable 9mm rounds.

P.S. Truck sounds great!!

thats pretty much what almost happened to me last january.. except well i parked my truck at his rear window on his bed (toyota tacoma) . i thought he was gone and done when he passed me on the shoulder and got me offguard!

glad nothing happened and everyone is safe.

i did finally get the word on what happened to the guy. 30 days in jail and he has to pay my damages(my inshurance company back) . his inshurance would not cover him for some reason(maybe high on speed and drunk??)! his truck was totaled and it wasnt even his! mine was minumal damage!but i wish it had never happened. i still have a stock bumper but as soon as i get time. im making a nice 1/4" steel i will mawl your butt. and eat your childrens souls bumper

Yea, following people scares them to death, especially in our trucks! I recently followed someone for no reason with a friend just because it was fun and we had nothing to do. It's kind of a long story, but I'll make it short. I guess we followed for about 20 miles around the city. I would give them false hope of getting away then slam it. I knew they would call to police soon. Just as I decided to stop following I turned a corner and there came the popo with a helicopter and everything! It was funny. They let me go and nothing happened. The cop was the same guy who pulled my bro and his friends over like 4 years ago and pointed a gun to his head. My bro had bought a short school bus, but someone called the cops and said it was stolen just because it was late at night and stuff. The cop said I couldn't drive my truck anymore that night (2:30 AM). Since it's registered under my dad's name he made my dad come get us. The cop lied to my dad and said we were stoned and he said I wouldn't get out of the truck when he told me to and stuff. They kind of DUI tested me and stuff, but I was straight and I don't even do drugs.

I had a little SUV thing mess with me like he did you right by my house. I had to lock all 4 wheels up and started sliding slightly sideways in heavy traffic. My anti-locks are broken. He didn’t stop because there was traffic ahead. He just did it to **** me off and then they turned into a neighborhood and flipped me off! That’s when I decided to carry stones with me. I went to my house and got stones and went to that neighborhood, but I couldn’t find them.

I looks like you could have just zoomed around them in the right lane when they hit the brakes the first time in the video. That's what I would have done.

It really irks some people when someone out runs them in what they consider,a old clunker. My old 93 isn't anything compared to some of the others here, but it still makes people in newer rigs nervous when they can't just run circles around me.
