texas game wardens getting full auto
In general, game wardens have more jurisdiction than anyone in the state.....or at least that's what I've always been told. Think of it this way....if a game warden is after someone he pretty much KNOWS that the person is armed.
They've been policing since they were created....or at least that is their role here in Texas (policing for poachers, etc.). I say give 'em full autos.

Count me in here. I went to college for Wildlife Management, and spent many hours in classes with future wardens. They have a tough job, since they are commissioned peace officers, plus have to patrol remote areas, usually alone, often/mostly at night, against people 99% likely to be armed, who have every intention of getting away. I can't even begin to count all of the stories I have heard about the Warden stumbling onto a Meth lab, or Marijuana operation while patroling public hunting areas! Give them all the tools we can, and more!!
Actually, I believe in the full auto, for the reasons listed above- though I think the M-16 doesn't stack up so well- something full auto with a 308 calliber would be much better. Gotta start somewhere I suppose though
