Bear Drinks Beer, passes out

Maybe Shortround was camping in Washington and left the cooler unattended.

 

Naaaah, couldn't have been SR's beer cooler.

The article stated that the bear survived and was captured live and relocated.

If that bear messed with Bruce's beer supply, that bear's sorry behind would be skinned out and hanging on the wall of his den.

 

Now that I think about it you are right, somehow SR and "unattended cooler" just don't make sense in the same sentence.

I know that I would have been safe, he did'nt like regular domestic beer.

Guessin' he had "Bear goggles" on when he got done.

 

He always looks like that when he comes in from a field problem.....Sr, that's a pretty good ghillie suit.

 

The bear can't come close to this guillie suit.
Besides, I drink Busch, just to keep bears and other low life out of my cooler.

Geese I think you look more like cusin IT from the Adams family in that get up. Be a hoot to answer the door at halloween in that suit.

 

Looks like, with a few lights and tinsel, he'd make a great christmas tree.

As a matter of fact, I did wear ir for Halloween. Hung a few different colored chem-lights in it and became the shimmering mass from the swamp. Kinda funny tho, everyone that answered the door just said "nice costume Bruce". Wonder how they knew it was me

 

Right after I read this thread, I heard it on the radio. It still made me laugh.

 

It turns out the bear was a bit of a beer sophisticate. He tried a mass-market Busch beer, but switched to Rainier Beer, a local ale, and stuck with it for his drinking binge.

Wildlife agents chased the bear away, but it returned the next day, said Broxson.

They set a trap using as bait some doughnuts, honey and two cans of Rainier Beer. It worked, and the bear was captured for relocation


Looks like he has a favorite beer. I like how they captured him.
