Good luck where ever you go. If the next job ask you why you left your last job. "Health Reasons." Just don't tell them you were sick of where you were.

Remember back in the early '70's the earth was reportedly going to flood once again! Many of those in that frame of mind headed to the highlands of Boulder to avoid the disaster. Well, it never happened but they stayed there and procreated. Now there is a city of "odd" folks. And the Pearl St. Mall and CU book store was the nesting place for many. I remember when the city cut off the parking meters and left the steel post on the hill by the CU book store. You could walk up the street and setting there leaning on each post was a person with a different style. One would have a Mohawk, one head shaved, one three foot long hair..... you name it, it was there. And the folks would skinny-dip the the stream just behind where the police station is now. Oh, those were the days!!!

Go north. Up to Ft. Collins. Check out the aroma of Greeley.

One thing you got to remember about Boulder, it's a college town through and through. There are plenty of wierdos, treehuggers, etc. I really watch the smoke around there, don't want to get the truck tagged. Too many Prius' for my liking.

I used to work in Boulder. I never liked it. Glad I moved to NC. However, I did love Colorado and lived in Breckenridge for many years, until of course, it became a tourist trap.

Boulder could disappear and the rest of Colorado would cheer. We ought to keep the university though. Any attempt at education, however feeble, is good.

Boulder isn't that bad, I work at CU. But I live in longmont. If you can afford it Boulder is a pretty good place to live. There are a few strange ones but all in all it's a nice place ( clean, very little crime, mostly nice people)

Jordan, you're correct. It is a nice, clean, low crime area. I seemed to encounter the the most peculiar folks at the Pearl St. Mall setting out eating Bohemian pizza, and crossdressers holding hands. Maybe it's good the mall is gone!

I lived in Arvada, CO and we always made fun of the Republic of Boulder. Denver is not that great either. If I had my choices it would be Colorado Springs or Grand Junction but the employment is pretty scarce in those areas.

Golden, Longmont, Loveland, and Fort Collins are pretty nice from what I've seen.
