Who can tell me what the diamonds every 19 3/16" are? I've figured out that they are 5 parts of 8' but beyond that I'm stumped, Thanx

 

Nevermind, found it, truss spacing

 

It was an idea that came out in the 80's and never cought on. They used it on a lot of apartments, it saves studs, but still lets plywood break on 8 feet. You stacked joists on top of studs, and the seccond story studs and trusses went right on top of them, often with single top plates. (I have a buddy that ran crews that built a lot of apartments before my time.)

And it is technically 19.2"
