(3) DC to cheap to fix trans where fluid runs in park

I could go on and on but its just little things like no fuse for trailer wires even after paying extra for towing packing, had to pay for high idle feature, had to pay for heater cord(and yes I know I live in a warm state but my truck has 4 wheels and will travel long distances to exotic cold places)
Nothing was ever said to me about bigger tires,or lift kits, intakes or anything on my 1996 chevy cc 3500 ecept yes sir well fix it right away, not just my home dealer but everywhere i went to a chevy dealer for warranty work.
YEP IM ALREADY PLANNING ON A NEW DMAX WITH ONLY 12000 MILES ON MY DODGE

WITHOUT CUMMINS THIS TRUCK AINT WORTH ###*@#$#@!

#1 depends on how long your warranty is!
#2 all have cheap paint since lead isn't ussed anymore
#3 don't all autos need to be checked in nuetral?

I wouldn't trade my truck for a Ford or Chevy, I've had them all and work on them all, Dodge is what I drive.

#1 I think his point was it was just out of warranty and they fixed it without any hassle.

#2 I was not aware that automotive paint ever had lead in it. However, that is not the issue because some manufacturers use good paint and clear coat.

#3 Most automatics are checked in PARK with engine running. However I think his point was that to get the transmission to cool down it must be idled in neutral, because the pump does not run in Park. I have also found this to be a flaw in design.

dodge's are the only ones that dont circulate in park. its an easy, cheap fix to make em go tho. run of the mill, chaepie, 59$ shift kit will make em circulate.......

I'm not gonna get excited about this but every automatic that I have checked the trans fluid in has always been checked in nuetral, even says it on the stick and owners manual. Why not park if the fluid circulates?

Well Guys Ive cooled down since last week.
Last Week:
Took out the injectors and chip. back to bone stock

Sold the injectors tried to sell the comp.

Drove the truck for a week stock and ****** off about it.

Tried to sell it, tried to trade it in (on a 04 dodge)

Tried to give it to my dad.

None of these worked out.

This week

Put the comp back in cuz I couldnt get out of my own way, especally with a trailer.

Not near as mad as last week somewhat still wanting a CR 03+ dodge.

Just not happy about the 24v VP44 motors at all.

Wouldnt recommend them to anyone.Get a 12v or a Common Rail. I wish I would have known how bad VP's were b4 i bought the truck, but that is my fualt and no one elses.

Thanks for the input fellas

Jamie

Quick and comfortable... last I recall them are the words of a car shopper.

Seriously the new gen Dodges blow away the Dmax when it comes to comfort knowing it's a Cummins. Everything else in the Dodges is much improved since the second gens. Many think the Dodge rides better than the GM.

If you really want the GM, buy it. What you will miss is the truck in the Dodge. Some do, some don't.
