Talk about gas prices!!!

I pulled up to the pump this morning to fill up the Stang and the pump clicked over to two dollars as soon as I inserted the card.

LOL. It cost me $95.00 to fill up yesterday. It absolutely sucks. I think I will really need to consider a fuel efficient car very soon or I will go broke...

I paid $30 to fill up the '86 Aries with regular this afternoon @ $3.59 gallon.
Local diesel prices range from $3.79 to .

The same station's diesel prices here were $3.59 on Monday, raised to $3.65 Tues, then $3.69 Wed, $3.75 yesterday, and $3.79 today.

News Flash...........police are baffled by the recent rash of gasoline tanker truck hijackings! No one knows who is behind these dastardly deeds, but what is for certain is that the new Congressional Committee For The obama Voter Relief Act is setting up a subcommittee to investigate why no evidence can be found. There are rumors that the evidence has vanished into thin air,and as a result there will be no film at 11!

Ya, cheapest around here this morning was $4.14, it was $4.04 yesterday.

I haven't had a below $100.00 fill-up in years. (I fill to the neck).

Yeah its rediculous. Wish I hadn't sold the TDI Beetle but hind sight is 20/20...right. Anyway, its still cheaper to drive the paid for goat than pick up another payment on a fuel mizer...for now anyway.

I went to a Shell station and use my credit card, the pump posted a dollar before I flipped the lever for the grade I wanted. I called the listed state phone number and complained about this. I later found out they sent a state employee to check on my complain and found they were doing this on all the pumps. They shut the station down and filed charges. Some people will do anything to make money at anyones expense. Next time, give it a try. Most people don't and stations can get away with it.

Also, check the total at 10 gallons to see if it is right. Some stations will have the meters off and make money that way. One very old trick.

I will say, most stations are honest and they still make money. But there are crooks out there.

3.85 Wednesday at my regular fuel stop, 4.19 Thursday. Where is the compelling emergency to justify this type of gouging?

Seen $4.07 today on my way home.

I've been driving a 99' Volvo S70 with a inline 5 for sometime now. MUCH MUCH cheaper to fill up then the Ram.

I just can't wait till summer until I can get out the bike. 50 MPG sounds pretty darn sweet right about now.

Wish my truck was paid off, or i'd have a bike myself by now. Would be nice, especially here where it's already been gettin into the 60's.
