Swiss trip

I will try again. Post got blown away by this laptop. Have posted a few pix in my gallery, Most too large to fit.
Took train, great way to travel in Europe. Clean, fast, and quiet. recommend reservations if available. In Switzerland if the timetable says train due at 1456, an your watch says 1505 when it arrives. Only 2 reasons, it is not a swiss train, or not a swiss watch.
Busses runevery 10 minutes, and announce the stop, and display the name inside the bus. Vending machin at stops dispense tickets. Some times they are checked, If you try to skip the ticket 80 franc fine on the spot. plus the fare. My cousin told me this.
Currency is the CHF swiss franc. Not sure of the exchange rate.
National dish is rosti, swiss hash brown potatos, fix in a special way, yum.
Was in Montraux 2 days after a storm with plum sized hail, a few deaths from falling trees. About wiped out the grape harevest.
This is in the French section. The toilets are flat on the floor, mens and ladies. Takes skill and getting used to.
Depending on section visited, language is german, with a Berenese dialect, French, or Itialian.
Much of it is old, there is a bridge last refurbished in 1560's or somewhere close.
Visited Albert Einsteins apartment, where he lived in Bern, where he worked in the patent office. The History Museum had a Einstein exibit. It showed his life, he was a ladies man. And also another showing his work, and explaing the theory of relitivity. I could have spent another day there.
Also the museum had a replica of Wright flyer, got a pix in my gallery.
Weather was mostly nice, only rained on part of one day.
We wanna go back!

Liked the pictures, you aughta swing down to Berchtesgaden. Take one of the boat rides out on lake Konigsee. The saltmine tour is neat too.
