Suicide By Cop?

Something doesn't sound right here. Did police officers make a deadly mistake or was this suicide by cop?

Sad story, sounds like either a kid making poor choices for a joke or suicide by cop. I am sure that the LEO's did not set out to kill anyone that day. In this twisted world they have no idea what they are walking into at any moment. My prayers go out to that family and the LEO's that were involved.

My prayers go out to everyone involved aswell. it is a very unfortunate situation but in the end there is only one person to blame and the is the kid that didnt make it. In these times you never know what kind of person you are dealing with and a split second decision is tough. He very well could have had a gun and killed an officer. Like I said it is very unfortunate but had the kid never done this he would still be alive. There are too many dogooders that get in the way of reality all the time. I could see if they shot him and he didnt have anything that looked like a gun but in a flash that hose nozzle could easily look like a gun. What a shame.

I think her brother made a mistake in this case and it was fatal.

To all the LEO's, keep up the good work, I don't know how you do it!

Sad story, I feel bad for the officer(s) that will have to live the rest of there life knowing they killed this kid that was unarmed but decide to play a joke. At the end of the day I think the situation was handle appropriately by the LEO, sad chain of evens either way.

Police didn't say if a garden hose was connected to the nozzle in his hand. This happens all too often when reports of weapons are involved. 911 calls made as a joke should be punish with jail time, especially when someone dies as a result of it.

I would not have hesitated... I would have shot him as well. Two center mass and one to the head with my AR-15. What disgusts me is the family's reaction to the action taken by police in this case. Yes, I know they are upset but can anyone with any common sense whatsoever say that they wouldn't have done the same thing?

I had a guy on a traffic stop not long ago reach under his seat quickly when I told him to get out of the car, as if to reach for a gun. He found the business end of a .357 in his temple and he's lucky he lived.. You DO NOT do that kind of stuff with the police, because we are going to go home at night. We cannot read your mind and we don't have any kind of magical power that tells us what you are holding. If you point something at me that looks like a gun, I am going to kill you, period.

I'm not a LEO by any means but I can 110% see ANY officer doing the exact same thing. You job is to not only protect the public but also to protect yourself and go home at the end of your shift!
Keep up the good work to you and any other LEO's here!!

I think this is Napolitano On 'If You See Something, Say Something' gone too far. Neighbors reporting on their neighbors, Is this Big Brother or is it more like ***** Germany during WWII. The Feds will not secure the border but they want all of us to police each other and call police if we see anything suspicious. Murders like this will continue to increase as long as DHS continues its push to label everyday Americans as terrorists.
