spiderman (woman?) checking in, 37 and sunny winds at 15mph so too cold to roof. eager to get back to underlayment application(hence disc nails) nails almost every four inches or 2000 nails to a 100 ft roll. tedious.

geesh Scotty canuck, that sounds terrible...amazing long term damage from floods....
got a lot of rain coming here, 4x4 hi lift coming in tuesday. might be roofing in the rain.

I wish I was as fine, as those who work the pipeline!
One more calf today, and probably one more today. Missed the first one this morning, I was at the Lumber Yard. Hopefully I will see the other one. The poor momma is miserable!!! The heifer that birthed this morning looks like she is doing well. Has the little guy all cleaned off. Hopefully the calf will get up soon and get his milk before too much longer...
Pretty nice day here for a change, light breeze and about 58. Great stair building weather.
All those in the bullseye, we'll keep prayers out for ya. Please be safe, no hero's in a tornado, only the ones after who help out!

Now this flooding could be the worst in 150 yrs. There are three major highways and one secondary that come into the city. Two have closures on them now and the third is expected to be flooded and closed by tomorrow. The detours are not what most people are familiar with when it comes to roads.
Most detours are saturated gravel roads that are very muddy and slow going.
When you think about it...opening all the flood gates on all of these reservoirs and the levels are still rising in the reservoirs. I have heard some crazy numbers of cubic feet per second that are running right now. I'll see if I can get some numbers...
The Moose Jaw River rose again on Friday. It rose from 200 cubic metres per second (CMS) late Thursday night to 240 cubic metres per second. Fahlman said the flow can increase to about 300 CMS in the next couple of days.

Hope you made it Ok. We're getting our buts kicked right now in SW AL. there's been at least 3 confirmed tornadoes in the last hour. In NW AL there's a large tornado that just moved into the state. The forecaster I'm listening to is saying there's so much debris in the storm it's showing up on the radar. Another tornado just reported north of Marion. This one is from the same cell that produced one of the tornadoes in the SW. All you folks to the north and east better pay attention!![Shocked](https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/forums/images/smilies/shocked.gif)

Yep its a good thing. My wife and daughter are traveling on HWY 11 and 'should' get through before the 4 lane is flooded.

Hey -- whoa - - define the word "INTO" please. Does INTO mean - - like - - into the living room, or bedroom - - or rather brushed up against the side of the house? Take care man - - nasty stuff up there. Who needs the Muslims with weather like this?

What an afternoon! It's been a long 6 hours. No less than 16 confirmed tornado reports, lots of damage but as of now, no fatalities. I've got a buddy in Marengo County I haven't been able to get hold of, worried. At least 3 tornadoes passed within a mile of where he's at. Hopefully I'll hear something tomorrow or I'm going to end up driving 140 miles one way to check on him. Tuscaloosa got hit pretty hard, about 40,000 without power. Watched one of the tornadoes on live tower cam making it's way along the south side of Tuscaloosa. It's an scary thing to see. Daylight tomorrow is not going to be pretty in allot of places.
